Penelitian ini berobjek material cerpen "Tujuan: Negeri Senja" dan "Ibu yang Anaknya Diculik Itu" karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma. Karya yang diilhami kasus penculikan aktivis 1998 tersebut didekati dengan perspektif kajian Sosiologi Sastra yang menitikberatkan pada dua aspek pembahasan, yaitu konteks sosial pengarang dan sastra sebagai cermin masyarakat.Kedua aspek tersebut digunakan untuk menelaah gugatan terhadap ketidakadilan kasus penculikan aktivis 1998 yang menjadi pokok permasalahan pada kedua cerpen tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode dialektik. Metode tersebut ditempuh dengan cara menghubungkan gagasan gugatan terhadap ketidakadilan kasus penculikan aktivis pada teks cerpen dengan variabel data sejarah, politik, dan kondisi sosial kemasyarakatan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konteks sosial pengarang mempengaruhi isi gagasan gugatan ketidakadilan kasus penculikan aktivis yang ditunjukkan dalam cerpen. Sastra sebagai cermin masyarakat pun mampu ditampilkan kembali dan direfleksikan sebagai gugatan terhadap ketidakadilan kasus penculikan aktivis pada tahun 1998.

This research is objected to the short story material of "Tujuan: Negeri Senja" and "Ibu yang Anaknya Diculik Itu" the literary works of Seno Gumira Ajidarma. Those literary works inspired by the 1998 activist kidnapping case are approached with the prespective of Literary Sociology study which emphasizes on two discussion aspects, which are the author social context and literature as society shining example. Those two aspects are used to analyze the accusation toward the injustice of the 1998 activist kidnapping case which becomes the main problem in those two short stories. The method used in this research is dialectic method. The method is gone through by connecting the concept of the accusation toward the injustice of the 1998 activist kidnapping case in the short story text withdata, history, politic, and society social condition variabels. The result shows that the author social context influences the concept of the accusation toward the injustice of the activist kidnapping case shown in the short story. Literature as society shining example is also able to be shown back and reflected as the accusation toward the injustice of the activist kidnapping case in 1998.
