POTENSI BIOMASSA DAN KARBON ABOVE GROUND BAMBU PAGAR (Bambusa glaucescens) PADA SISTEM AGROFORESTRI DI HUTAN RAKYAT DESA ANDONGSILI, KAB. WONOSOBO, JAWA TENGAH

2015 | Skripsi | S1 MANAJEMEN HUTANSalah satu jenis bambu yang biasanya digunakan sebagai tanaman pagar adalah Bambusa glaucescens dan belum pernah dijadikan objek penelitian dalam kemampuannya menyerap gas karbon dioksida. Penelitian ini bertujuan : (1) menghitung kandungan biomassa dan karbon sampel bambu pagar, (2) membuat model penduga untuk menaksir kandungan biomassa dan karbon, (3) menaksir potensi biomassa, dan karbon serta besarnya serapan gas CO2 oleh bambu pagar pada sistem agroforestri di hutan rakyat Desa Andongsili, Kabupaten Wonosobo, Jawa Tengah. Delapan belas batang bambu pagar dengan ukuran tinggi dan diameter bervariasi digunakan sebagai sampel untuk membuat model penduga biomassa, dan karbon. Kandungan biomassa diperoleh dengan cara mengeringkan sampel pada suhu 103±2o C sampai tercapai berat kering konstan. Sedangkan kandungan karbon diperoleh melalui pendekatan metode walkley and black. Hasil penelitian diperoleh rerata kandungan biomassa pada dbh 1,61 cm untuk organ batang sebesar 192,67 g , organ ranting 142,22 g , organ daun 115,9 g. Rerata kandungan karbon pada dbh 1,61 cm untuk organ batang sebesar 77,52 g, organ ranting 53,72 g, organ daun 36,33 g. Model penduga yang dihasilkan yaitu hubungan antara dbh dan tinggi dengan biomassa (Bt), dan kandungan karbon (Ct) adalah Bt = 112,9(D2H)0,613 (r2 = 0,685), Ct = 41,83(D2H)0,618 (r2 = 0,721). Hasil inventarisasi per hektar untuk jumlah batang bambu pagar adalah 75500 batang, potensi biomassa total 28,483 ± 0.02746 ton/ha dengan presisi 2,3%. Potensi karbon total 10,670 ± 0,01034 ton/ha dengan presisi 2,4%. Total gas CO2 yang dapat diserap oleh bambu pagar 39,157 ± 0,3749 ton/ha dengan presisi 2,4%.
Bamboo species commonly used as hedgerows, such as Bambusa glaucescens, capability in carbon sequestration were rarely researched. The research objectives are (1) To calculate biomass and carbon contents of hedgerows bamboo (Bambusa glaucescens) samples, (2) To make a prediction model of biomass and carbon contents. (3) To assess potential biomass and carbon contents along with the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) uptake of hedgerows bamboo in agroforetry system in community forest of Andongsili, Wonosobo, Central Java. Samples were taken from 18 stalks of hedgerows with various heights and diameters in order to be used in making the predictive models for biomass and carbon. Biomass contents were measured by drying the samples in 103 oC until constant dry weight is reached. Carbon contents were measured by using Walkley and Black method. The result has shown the average of biomass contents at dbh 1,61 cm for stalks were 192,67 g, branches were 142,22 g, leaves were 115,9 g. While the average of carbon contents at dbh 1,61 cm for stalks were 77,52 g, branches were 53,72 g, leaves were 36,33 g. Prediction models were made by using the interactions among dbh and height with biomass and carbon contents, which is Bt = 112,9(D2H)0,613 (r2 = 0,685), Ct = 41,83(D2H)0,618 (r2 = 0,721). The inventory results has shown 75500 stalks of hedgerows bamboos per hectare, total potential biomass 28,483 ± 0.02746 ton/ha with 2,3% precision. Total potential carbon 10,670 ± 0,01034 ton/ha with 2,4% precision and CO2 gas sequestration capability total 39,157 ± 0,3749 ton/ha with 2,4% precision.
