UNSUR-UNSUR INTRINSIK CERPEN WARAQATUN MIN AT-TIRAH DALAM ANTOLOGI CERPEN ARDU AL-BURTUQALI AL-HAZINI KARYA GASSAN KANAFANI: ANALISIS STRUKTURAL ROBERT STANTON

Penelitian ini membahas unsur-unsur instrinsik cerpen Waraqatun min At-Tirah dalam antologi cerpen Ardu Al-Burtuqali Al-Hazini karya Gassan Kanafani. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teori struktural Robert Stanton. Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang dibahas mencakup fakta cerita yang terdiri atas karakter, alur, dan latar, kemudian tema, serta sarana cerita yang terdiri atas judul dan sudut pandang. Penelitian ini juga membahas keterkaitan antarunsur tersebut. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tema cerpen ini adalah peran serta masyarakat sipil dalam perjuangan membela Palestina tidak mendapatkan pengakuan dan penghargaan dari pemerintah Palestina sehingga menyebabkan penderitaan. Tokoh utama dalam cerpen ini adalah si Aku seorang penjual kurma Ajwah yang memiliki jiwa nasionalisme yang tinggi terhadap negaranya. Tokoh tambahannya adalah Ibrahim Abu Daih, Hanun, Orang-orang Yahudi, dan Sopir kendaraan umum. Cerpen ini memiliki alur mundur atau flash-back. Cerpen ini memiliki latar tempat dan latar waktu. Latar tempatnya adalah negara Palestina khususnya kota Tira. Latar waktu, yaitu pada tahun 1948. Selain itu, judul cerpen Waraqatun min at-Tirah yang diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia menjadi Catatan Dari Tanah Tira. Cerpen ini diceritakan dengan sudut pandang orang pertama-utama. Masing-masing unsur intrinsik cerpen ini memiliki keterkaitan satu sama lain sehingga membentuk makna yang utuh.

This study discusses the intrinsic elements of the short story Waraqatun min at-Tirah dalam antologi cerpen Ardu Al-Burtuqali Al-Hazini written by Gassan Kanafani. The theory used in this study is structural theory of Robert Stanton. The intrinsic elements that are discussed consist of facts of the story; characters and characterizations, plot, and setting, the theme, and the literary devices which consists of title and point of view. This study also analyzes the relations among those elements. This study concludes that the theme of this short story is the the role of civil society in the struggle to defend the Palestinians do not get the recognition and appreciation of the Palestinian government, causing suffering. The main character in the short story is I'm a seller of dates Ajwah which has a high spirit of nationalism against the country. Additional figures are Ibrahim Abu Daih, Hanun, the jews, and driver. The plot in this story is flash-back plot. Background of this story consists of two setting, places background and time setting. Place background is a Palestinian state in particular cities Tira. The time setting in 1948. Title of this story refers to places background, Tira one of the cities in Palestina. The point of view in this short story is the first person type. Every intrinsic elements in this short story has relations with each other thus together they form a whole meaning.
