Tingkat produksi susu dan fertilitas sapi perah Friesien Holstein di Kelompok Ternak Sapi Perah Maju Makmur Desa Krajan, Jatinom, Klaten masih rendah. Ukuran ovarium dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu parameter kualitas performa reproduksi dan manajemen pemeliharaan sapi perah terkait dengan produksi susu. Tujuan dilakukan penelitan adalah untuk mengkaji produksi susu dan ukuran ovarium sapi perah di peternakan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara survei langsung mengunjungi kelompok ternak. Dilakukan perhitungan produksi susu dengan tabung ukur dan pemeriksaan ultrasonografi dengan cara memasukkan probe melalui rektum untuk mengetahui ukuran ovarium pada 12 ekor sapi betina dengan umur rata-rata 4 tahun. Dari data yang didapat kemudian dilakukan uji korelasi untuk mengetahui hubungan keduanya. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa produksi susu dibawah normal, ukuran ovarium normal, nilai korelasi produksi susu dengan ukuran ovarium lemah, hubungan berlawanan dan tidak signifikan.

The level of milk production and fertility of Friesien Holstein dairy cows in Dairy Cattle Group Desa Maju Makmur Krajan, Jatinom, Klaten are still low. The size of the ovaries can be used as one of the quality parameters of reproductive performance and maintenance management of dairy cattle associated with milk production. The purpose of the research was to assess the milk production and the ovaries size of dairy cows on the farm. This research was carried out with direct surveys by visiting the herd. Calculation of milk production with a measuring tube and ultrasound examination by inserting a probe through the rectum to find out the size of the ovaries of 12 cows with an average age of 4 years. From the data obtained subsequently performed correlation test to determine the relationship between the two. From the results of this study concluded that milk production is below normal, normal ovarian size, the value of milk production correlation with the size of the ovary is weak, has opposite relation and not significant.
