Pekerjaan survei dan pemetaan untuk tugas akhir ini menjelaskan tentang ilmu dan teknologi untuk menyajikan informasi bentuk permukaan bumi baik unsur alam maupun buatan manusia dibidang lengkung(luas > 55 km x 55 km) atau (> 0.5 derajat x 0.5 derajat). Salah satu hasil produksi dari disiplin ilmu geomatika adalah peta. Metode yang digunakan untuk pembuatan peta situasi dengan skala besar 1:500 adalah pengadaan titik-titik kerangka dasar pemetaan, pengukuran kerangka horisontal, pengukuran kerangka vertikal, pengukuran titik-titik detil sampai proses penggambaran peta digital. Hasil yang diperoleh pembuatan peta situasi ini, terletak pada daerah dusun pandanrejo dan dusun tegalmiri, desa banyuripan, kecamatan bayat, kabupaten klaten, provinsi jawa tengah. Dengan sistem proyeksi UTM(Universal Transverse Mercator).

Surveying and mapping work in this thesis describes the science and to present information teknologi shape the earth's surface both natural and manmade elements of the field curvature (area > 55 km x 55km) or (> 0.5 degrees x 0.5 degrees). One of the results of production of geomatics disciplines is a map. Methods used in the manufacture of large-scale maps with 1:500 situation is procurement points mapping the basic framework, the measurement framework of horizontal, vertical frame measurement, measurement points until the detailed depiction of a digital map. Results obtained in the manufacture of this situation map, located in the hamlets area Pandanrejo and Tegalmiri, Banyuripan village, sub-district freshman, Klaten district, Central Java province.With the UTM(Universal Transverse Mercator) projection system.
