INTISARI Tujuan tugas akhir ini disusunan dalahu untuk mengetahui PENGARUH MENEJEMEN TERHADAP TINGKAT PUBERTAS PADA SAPI PERAH berdasarkan data yang ada di Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah Balai Penelitian Bibit Pakan Ternak dan Diagnostik Kehewanan (UPTD BPBPTDK) Pakem, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan penulis dengan cara wawancara secara langsung dengan narasumber dan melakukan pengamatan di lapangan secara langsung selama berlangsungnya kegiatan Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) pada tanggal 17 sampai 22 Maret 2015. Objek penelitian yang digunakan adalah sapi perah Frisian Holstein usia produktif sejumlah 32 ekor dengan umur minimal dua tahun. Metode penentuan umur pubertas sapi perah dilakukan dengan melihat catatan lahir sapi perah di UPTD BPBPTDK Kaliurang. Hasil pengamatan dari data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa sapi perah dengan umur 1,5 tahun sudah bisa dikawinkan apabila bobot badannya sudah mencapai 300 kg dengan interval waktu pada umur 27 bulan sudah bisa melahirkan anak pertamanya, berarti sistem menejemen pemeliharaan untuk pedet sudah baik.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this thesis to determine the composition dalahu EFFECT ON THE LEVEL OF MANAGEMENT IN DAIRY CATTLE Puberty based on existing data in the Regional Technical Implementation Unit Forage Seed Research Institute and the Veterinary Diagnostic (UPTD BPBPTDK) Pakem, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The collection of data on the author by way of direct interviews with sources and conduct direct field observations during the activity Job Training (PKL) on March 17 to March 22, 2015. The object of the research is Frisian Holstein dairy cow productive age number of 32 head with a minimum of two years of age. The method of determining the age of puberty dairy cows made by looking at the record dairy cow born in UPTD BPBPTDK Ground. The observation of the data obtained showed that dairy cows at the age of 1.5 years old can be mated when body weight has reached 300 kg with intervals of time at the age of 27 months was able to give birth to her first child, means the maintenance management system for the calf has been good.
