KLASIFIKASI KAWASAN PRODUKSI GETAH PINUS DI KPH KEDU UTARA

Hutan memiliki peran besar sebagai penyedia barang produksi dalam segi pemanfaatan berupa kayu dan non kayu. Salah satu pengelolaan hutan dilakukan oleh BUMN Perum Perhutani yang menghasilkan barang non kayu berupa getah dari pohon pinus. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, Perum Perhutani kesulitan dalam memenuhi permintaan pasar karena pasokan getah yang berfluktuatif. Diperlukan adanya pengelolaan yang tepat untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Untuk menjadi dasar rencana pengelolaan, harus diketahui tingkat produksi setiap kawasan yang ada. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui : (1) klasifikasi kawasan produksi getah pinus yang ada di KPH Kedu Utara, (2) klasifikasi kawasan produksi apabila diproyeksikan kedalam peta. Klasifikasi kawasan produksi ini dilakukan di KPH Kedu Utara, Divisi Regional Jawa Tengah, Perhutani. Kriteria yang digunakan untuk klasifikasi antara lain Produksi getah (per pohon per hari), bonita, ketinggian tempat, umur, curah hujan, dan kerapatan bidang dasar. Kriteria yang menjadi acuan utama adalah produksi getah. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan antara lain analisis klaster dengan metode hirarki kemudian dilanjutkan dengan analisis klaster dengan metode non-hirarki. Dengan metode penggabungan data, hasil klasifikasi diproyeksikan ke dalam peta. Hasil penelitian ini adalah : (1) jumlah kelas klasifikasi = 3 klaster. Klaster dibagi menjadi klaster 1 produksi sedang, klaster 2 produksi tinggi, dan klaster 3 produksi rendah. (2) Rata-rata kriteria dalam setiap klaster : klaster 1 produksi getah = 11,79 gram/hari, umur = 25,15 tahun, ketinggian tempat = 652 mdpl, bonita = 2,66, KBD = 0,88 m2, curah hujan = 3395 mm/tahun. Klaster 2 produksi getah = 15,92 gram/hari, umur = 32,52 tahun, ketinggian tempat = 690,11 mdpl, bonita = 3,03, KBD = 1,08 m2, curah hujan = 791 mm/tahun. Klaster 3 produksi getah = 5,79 gram/hari, umur = 27,73 tahun, ketinggian tempat = 1048,89 mdpl, bonita = 2,34, KBD = 0,66 m2, curah hujan = 1477,34 mm/tahun.

Forest has major role as a provider of goods produced in terms of utilization as timber and non timber products. One of the forest management has been managed by state-owned enterprise, Perum Perhutani that produces the goods of non-timber in the form of sap from pine trees. In the recent years, Perum Perhutani experiencing difficulties to fulfilled the market demand because of fluctuated sap supply. It require a proper management to resolve that issue. In developing of the basis for management plan, it shall to known the level of production in every existing regions. The purpose of this study is to know: (1) classification of pine sap production area in KPH Kedu Utara, (2) classification of production areas when projected into the map. The study of Classification of production area was conducted in KPH Kedu Utara, Division of Regional Central Java, Perhutani. The criteria that used for classification include sap production (per tree per day), bonita, altitude, age, rainfall, and the density of the basic fields (KBD). The criteria that become the main reference is the production of sap. The study methods that has been used include the analysis of cluster with hierarchy method and then continued with analysis of cluster with non-hierarchical method. With the data merging method, then the result of classification is projected into the map. This result of this study is: (1) number of class classification = 3 clusters. The clusters is divided into cluster 1 for moderate production, cluster 2 for high production, and cluster 3 for low production. (2) mean value of the criteria in each cluster : cluster 1 production of sap = 11.79 gram/day, age = 25.15 years old, altitude = 652 m amsl, bonita = 2.66, KBD = 0.88 m2, rainfall = 3395 mm/year. Cluster 2 production of sap = 15.92 gram/day, age = 32.52 years old, altitude = 690.11 m amsl, bonita = 3.03, KBD = 1.08 m2, rainfall = 791 mm/year. Cluster 3 production of sap = 5.79 gram/day, age = 27.73 years old, altitude = 1048.89 m amsl, bonita = 2.34, KBD = 0.66 m2, rainfall = 1477.34 mm/year.
