Tugas akhir ini merupakan hasil dari pengukuran yang mencakup pemetaan dan penentuan posisi untuk menghasilkan unsur geografis dan unsur spasial dari permukaanbumi. Dalampengukuranini, penulismenggunakanmetodepenentuankerangka control peta, yaknipengukurankerangka control horizontal, pengukuran detil planimetris dan titik tinggi, penggambaranpeta digital serta pengujian peta yang telah dibuat. Hasil akhir yang didapatkan adalah peta situasi pada lokasi 8 dusunbanaran, desa banyuripan dan dusun purwosari, desa beluk, kecamatan bayat, kabupaten klaten, provinsi jawa tengah tergambar dengan skala 1:500 dalam system proyeksi Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) dan dalam datum proyeksi World Geodetic System (WGS 1984).

This final project is the result of measuring process including mapping and positioning process to get the geographics substance and the spatial substance of the ground. In this measuring process, the researcher used the method of determining map control framework. It is a framework measuring of the horisontal control, the measuring of the planimetric detil and the spot height of the digital map drawing, and the assesing of the created-map. The final result of this research is a map of situation in the 8 locations in Banaran, Banyuripan Village, Purwosari, Beluk Village, Bayat District, Klaten Regency, Jawa Tengah Province that are ilustrated in a scale 1:500 of the Universal Transvere Mercator (UTM) projection system and in a datum of the World Geodetic System projection (WGS 1984)
