EVALUASI PENYEBAB KELUHAN MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDERS PADA OPERATOR PENGEPAKAN GULA (Studi Kasus: PG. MADUKISMO)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pekerjaan penanganan material secara manual yang dilakukan oleh operator pengepakan gula di PG. Madukismo. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi resiko munculnya keluhan musculoskeletal disorders akibat dari cara penanganan material yang dilakukan oleh operator. Selain itu penelitian ini juga dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara indeks masa tubuh, usia pekerja dan masa kerja terhadap munculnya keluhan musculoskeletal disorders. Objek pada penelitian ini adalah 36 operator pengepakan gula di bagian gudang PG. Madukismo, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Variabel pada peneltian ini adalah postur kerja, indeks masa tubuh, usia pekerja dan masa kerja. Evaluasi terkait postur kerja pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode OWAS. Untuk melihat hubungan variabel indeks masa tubuh, usia pekerja dan masa kerja terhadap munculnya keluhan musculoskeletal disorders dengan menggunakan metode korelasi Spearman Rank-Test Berdasarkan analisa postur kerja menggunakan metode OWAS, didapatkan tiga pekerjaan yang diperlukan perbaikan secepatnya karena berada pada level 4 kategori OWAS. Keluhan musculoskeletal disorders yang dialami oleh pekerja ditunjukkan oleh hasil rekapitulasi data nordic. Sedangkan evaluasi menggunakan metode Spearman Rank-Test, variabel indeks masa tubuh dan masa kerja berpengaruh terhadap munculnya keluhan musculoskeletal disorders. Sedangkan variabel usia tidak menunjukkan adanya pengaruh terhadap munculnya keluhan musculoskeletal disorders. Oleh karena itu diperlukan adanya perbaikan untuk meminimalkan resiko munculnya keluhan musculoskeletal disorders. Perbaikan pada penelitian adalah memberikan informasi mengenai tata cara pengangkatan beban, penambahan alat bantu (hand pallet), pengecekan dan pembekalan mengenai kesehatan tubuh, dan penggunakan alat perlindungan diri (back support dan alas kaki).

Complaints musculoskeletal disorders experienced by workers is shown by the results of recapitulation of data nordic. The evaluation using Spearman Rank-Test, and body mass index variables affect the service life of the emergence of musculoskeletal disorders complaints. Therefore, it is necessary repair to minimize the risk of musculoskeletal disorders emergence complaint. Improvements in the research is provide information about the procedures for the appointment of the load, the addition of tools (hand pallet), checks and briefing about the health of the body, and the use of personal protective equipment (back support and footwear).
