Hubungan Depresi dengan Kualitas Hidup Penderita HIV/AIDS di Poliklinik Edelweis RSUP. DR. Sardjito Yogyakarta

Latar Belakang : Infeksi HIV/AIDS di Indonesia merupakan masalah kesehatan yang memerlukan perhatian. Berbagai gangguan psikiatri yang sering menyertai penyakit HIV/AIDS, seperti depresi, ansietas, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dan lain-lain. Penilaian kualitas hidup pada individu dengan HIV/AIDS harus ikut mempertimbangkan pula aspek fungsi, kesejahteraan dan kepuasan hidup. Yang termasuk indikator kualitas hidup diantaranya adalah perasaan kesejahteraan seseorang, situasi kehidupan di lingkungan dan status kesehatan. Karena kualitas hidup sangat kompleks, maka penilaiannya tidak bisa semata-mata digambarkan sebagai satu indikator yang terukur. Tujuan : Mengidentifikasihubungandepresi dengan kualitas hidup penderita HIV/AIDS di Poliklinik Edelweis RS.DR.Sardjito Yogyakarta. Metodologi : Penelitian ini jenis penelitian non eksperimentaldengan pendekatan deskriptif analitik, rancangancross sectional. Subyek penelitian adalah penderita HIV/AIDS yang kontrol rutin di poliklinik EdelweisRSUP.DR.Sardjito Yogyakarta, sebanyak 130 subyek. Alur penelitian dengan mengisi kuesioner Back Depression Inventory (BDI) dan WHOQOL-HIV BREF. Hasil :Depresi pada penderita HIV/AIDS adalah 39,1%. Analisastatistik menunjukkan proporsi subyek dengan kualitas hidup rendah yang mengalami depresi berbeda secara bermakna dengan proporsi subyek dengan kualitas hidup tinggi yang mengalami depresi (crossectional 2 =11,215 ; p = 0,001) dan status pernikahan mempunyai hubungan bermakna dengan kualitas hidup penderita HIV/AIDS (crossectional =11,052 ; p = 0,001). Hasil uji korelasi dengan Rank Spearman menunjukkan korelasi antara depresi dan kualitas hidup (r = -0,320 ; p < 0,001). Kesimpulan :Terdapat hubungan antara depresi dengan kualitas hidup pada penderita HIV/AIDS. Status pernikahan berhubungan dengan kualitas hidup pada penderita HIV/AIDS.

Background:HIV / AIDS infection in Indonesia is a health problem that requires attention. Various psychiatric disorders that often accompany with HIV / AIDS, such as depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and others. Quality of life assessment in individuals with HIV / AIDS must also consider the aspect of life function, prosperity and satisfaction. Indicators on the quality of life include the feeling of prosperity, life situations in the environment and health status. Because of the complexity on the quality of life, then the judgment can not be described solely as a single measurable indicator. Objective: To identify the relationship between depression and quality of life in HIV / AIDS patients at the EdelweissPolyclinicRS.DR.Sardjito Yogyakarta. Methodology: This is a non eksperimenta descriptivestudy with cross sectional analytical method to assess depression and quality of life scores in HIV / AIDSpatients. The study population is HIV / AIDS patients routinely control in the EdelweissPolyclinic RS.DR.Sardjito Yogyakarta who meet the inclusion criterias and had filled informed consent. The study population selectedby consecutive sampling method. The data collected by filling out Back Depression Inventory (BDI) questionnaires and the WHOQOL-HIV BREF. Results: The prevalence of depression in our subjects was 39.1% . The chi square test results showed that the proportion of depressed subjects with a low quality of life significantlydifferent from the proportion of subjects with a high quality of life (c2 = 11.215; p = 0.001) and marital status have a strong relationship with quality of life in people living with HIV / AIDS (c2 = 11.052; p = 0.001). The results of the Rank Spearman correlation test showed a correlation between depression and quality of life (r = -0.320; p <0.001). Conclusion: Depression showed a relation with quality of life in people with HIV / AIDS. Marital status showed a relation with quality of life in people with HIV /AIDS.
