PENGARUH LAMA ADAPTASI BICARA PEMAKAI GIGI TIRUAN LENGKAP RESIN AKRILIK TERHADAP KUALITAS SUARA PENGUCAPAN HURUF /S/ (observasi klinis)

2015 | Tesis | SP PROSTODONSIAPembuatan gigi tiruan bertujuan merehabilitasi fungsi bicara pasien kehilangan gigi. Hambatan bicara dilaporkan pasien pemakai gigi tiruan lengkap ketika mengucapkan suara huruf /s/, yang dapat diperbaiki dengan adaptasi. Adaptasi bicara pengguna gigi tiruan lengkap terjadi antara dua minggu sampai empat minggu setelah insersi. Adaptasi bicara dilihat dengan menganalisis suara perekaman huruf /s/, sehingga didapatkan nilai frekuensi dan amplitudo. Frekunesi dan amplitudo termasuk ke dalam faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas suara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji informasi tentang pengaruh lama adaptasi pemakaian gigi tiruan lengkap resin akrilik terhadap kualitas suara pengucapan huruf /s/. Tiga belas subjek pemakai gigi tiruan lengkap direkam pengucapan huruf /s/ pada 2 minggu, 3 minggu, dan 4 minggu setelah insersi di dalam ruang perekaman Pusat Pelatihan Bahasa Universitas Gadjah Mada. Nilai referensi diambil dari analisis 13 individu tanpa kehilangan gigi dengan pola pertumbuhan gigi normal yang direkam dengan menggunakan metode sama. Hasil perekaman dianalisis dengan software Cool Edit Pro 2.1 untuk didapatkan nilai frekuensi dan amplitudo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan nilai frekuensi dan amplitudo pada dua sampai empat minggu pertama setelah insersi (p>0,05), namun nilai frekuensi mengalami peningkatan, yang mendekati nilai referensi. Kualitas suara pengucapan huruf /s/ tidak dipengaruhi oleh lama adaptasi bicara pemakai gigi tiruan lengkap resin akrilik.
A denture was used to rehabilitated speech function of patient. Speech defect often reported by full denture patient when they had to made /s/ sound and it could have been repaired by adaptation. Normally speech adaptations in full denture patient were performed 2 until 4 weeks after insertion.Speech adaptation was seen by analyzing recorded /s/ sound in order to get frequency and amplitude. Frequency and amplitude was included in factor that influenced quality of sound. This research has aim to observed information abaout effect adaptation time in acrylic resin full denture patient to speech rehabilitation of /s/ sound. Thirteen full denture patient were recorded when made /s/ sound at 2 week, 3 week, and 4 week after insertion in recording room of Pusat Pelatihan Bahasa, Gadjah Mada University. Value of reference was taken from thirteen healthy subjects with no history of extraction and have natural dentition which were recorded under the same conditions. Sound recording was analyzed with Cool Edit Pro 2.1 software to measure frequency and amplitude. There is no differenece found in frequency and amplitude at two week until fourth week after insertion (p>0.05), but frequency has been improved through value of reference. Speech quality of /s/ sound in acrylic resin full denture patient did not influenced by speak adaptation time.
