Penyerapan tenaga kerja di Kabupaten Kulonprogo Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta 1995-1999

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penyerapan tenaga keja di Kabupaten Kulonprogo Propinsi DIY, dalam periode 1995-1999. Di samping itu, penelitian ini juga menyelidiki faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perubahan penyerapan tenaga kerja, sektor unggulan dan produktivitas serta elastisitas. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang terdiri atas PDRB dan penyerapan tenaga kerja yang diperoleh dari Kantor Statistik Propinsi DlY. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Shlfi-Shure . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar laju pertumbuhan produktivitas mengala.ni penurunan -1 ,O I % karena laju pertumbuhan penyerapan tenaga kerja lebih cepat dari pada laju pertumbuhan ekonomi. Elastisitas sebagan besar dari satu (-3,00%) yang disebabkan oleh penurunan produktivitas. This research attempts to analyze the employment absorption in the Regency of Kulonprogo, the Province Yogyakarta Special Territory, for the period of 1995- 1999. In addition, this research also investigates the factor influencing the changing of employment absorption, the advantage sector, and the productivity and elasticity. The data used in this research are secondary data consisting of the Gross Regional Domestic Product and the employment absorption obtained from the provincial Statistics Office of Yogyakarta. The analysis methods applied in this research are Shift-Share . The result of this research indicate that most of the productivity growth rate decreased (-1,01%) because the employment absorption growth rate was faster than the economic growth rate. Most of the elasticity was also less than one due (-3,00%) to the decrmse of ihe productivity.
