BENTUK-BENTUK PEMANFAATAN HUTAN LINDUNG DI RESORT PENGELOLAAN HUTAN MANGUNAN OLEH MASYARAKAT SETEMPAT

Hutan sebagai suatu kesatuan ekosistem memberikan banyak manfaat terhadap keberlangsungan hidup manusia khususnya bagi masyarakat sekitar hutan, baik berupa hasil hutan kayu maupun hasil hutan non kayu. Pemanfaatan sumberdaya hutan bertujuan agar seluruh masyarakat memperoleh manfaat bagi kesejahteraannya dengan tetap menjaga kelestarian hutan. Pemanfaatan sumberdaya hutan oleh masyarakat disekitar hutan merupakan salah satu bentuk interaksi yang terjadi antara hutan dengan manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk pemanfaatan sumberdaya hutan oleh masyarakat dan mengestimasi nilai pemanfaatannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei, dengan melakukan wawancara. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode Random sampling terdiri dari 35 responden yang diambil dari dua desa yaitu Desa Mangunan dan Desa Muntuk, Kecamatan Dlingo, Kabupaten Bantul, Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa bentuk-bentuk pemanfaatan yang dilakukan masyarakat terhadap hutan lindung terdiri dari pengambilan kayu bakar, tatal, pakan ternak, penyadapan dan hutan sebagai tempat wisata. Rata-rata nilai dari hasil pemanfaatan sumberdaya hutan per tahun berupa kayu bakar sebesar Rp. 345.600 per orang, tatal Rp. 480.000 per orang, pakan ternak Rp. 844.714 per orang, getah pinus Rp. 1.968.389 per orang dan wisata Rp. 771.429 per orang.

Forest as an ecosystem provides many benefits for the sustainability of human life, especially for the local community who live around forest, both wood forest products and non-wood forest products. Forest resources utilization aims to obtain benefits for the community welfare with maintaining the sustainability of the forest. Utilization of the forest resources by local communities around the forest area is a form of interactions of the local communities that between forests and people. This study aimed to identify the forms of forest resources utilization by local communities and estimating the value of forest utilization by the community. This research is using survey method by conducting interview. Research sampling was done by Random Sampling method that consisted of 35 respondents drawn from two villages, namely Mangunan and Muntuk Village, District Dlingo, Bantul Region, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Based on the research results, revealed that the forms of interactions that the local communities did to the forest consisted of taking firewood, shavings, fodder,pinesap and forests as tourist attractions/ tourism. The average value from forest resources utilization product per year are firewood with amount 345.600,- IDR per person, shaving 480.000,- IDR per person, fodder 844.714,- IDR per person, pinesap 1.968.389,- IDR per person and tourism 777.429,- IDR per person.
