Kajian Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Stres Kerja Mahasiswa Program Pendidikan Dokter Spesialis (PPDS)

Stres merupakan masalah kesehatan penting yang dialami oleh dokter ataupun mahasiswa kedokteran. Stres di kalangan dokter mengalami peningkatan terutama di tahun pertama setelah kelulusannya sebagai dokter umum. Program pendidikan spesialis atau residensi seringkali menimbulkan stres pada kehidupan profesional seorang residen atau mahasiswa PPDS. Penelitian tentang stres kerja dan faktor yang mempengaruhi telah dilakukan dilakukan diluar negeri tetapi untuk faktor yang mempengaruhi stres kerja belum dilakukan penelitian di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengadopsi instrumen untuk mengukur stres kerja, mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi baik dari personal maupun dari lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa Program Pendidikan Dokter Spesialis (PPDS) Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Gadjah Mada rumah sakit Sardjito Yogyakarta dan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Airlangga rumah sakit Soetomo Surabaya dengan jumlah responden total 70 orang dengan program spesialisasi interna (penyakit dalam) dan obstetri gynekology (kandungan). Survei dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode proportional convenient sampling. Untuk mengukur tingkat stres kerja menggunakan kuisioner Major Depresion Inventory (ICD-10) dari WHO. Instrumen hasil penelitian dilakukan uji validitas, reliabilitas, analisis faktor eksploratori, dan regresi linier. Hasil dari penelitian adalah sebuah instrumen yang telah diuji secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dari hasil studi empiris nilai stres kerja yang dibagi menjadi low stress dan high stress terdapat perbedaan untuk faktor yang mempengaruhi ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikasi yang mempunyai nilai lebih kecil dari 0,05. Faktor yang mempengaruhi stres kerja adalah beban kerja, beban akademik,dan hubungan interpersonal dengan nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05. Faktor yang mempengaruhi stres kerja dengan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada residen oncology (kanker) di Prancis yang mempunyai nilai yang sama adalah faktor beban kerja dan supervisor dalam akademisi yang mempengaruhi stres kerja.

Stress is an important health problem experienced by doctors and medical students. Stress among doctors has increased, especially in the first year after graduation as a general practitioner. Specialist study or residency programs often cause stress on the professional life of a resident or specialist program students. Research on work stress and factors that affect has been conducted outside the country but has not been conducted in Indonesia. Therefore, this study aims to adopt an instrument for measuring work stress, to identify and to analyze the factors that affect both from personal and from environment. This research was conducted on students of Specialist Doctor Program (PPDS) Faculty of Medicine, University of Gadjah Mada ,Sardjito hospital and Faculty of Medicine, University of Airlangga, Soetomo hospital with the total number of respondents 70 people on interna (internal medicine) and obstetric gynekology specialist program . The survey was conducted by using the proportional convenient sampling method. To measure the level of work stress this research employed questionnaires from Major Depression Inventory (ICD-10) of WHO. Research result instrument has been tested by test of validity, reliability, exploratory factor analysis, and linear regression. The result of the research is an instrument that has been tested qualitatively and quantitatively. From the results of empirical study of work stress values which are divided into low stress and high stress there are differences from affecting factors indicated by the significant value that has a value less than 0,05. Factors that affect work stress are workload, academic load, and interpersonal relationships with significant value less than 0.05. Factors that affect work stress with the results of research conducted on resident of oncology (cancer) in France which has the same value are the work load factor and supervisors in academic that affect work stress.
