Gambaran darah rusa Timor jantan memiliki nilai rerata eritrosit 14,42 jt/mm³; Hb 15,3 gr%; hematokrit 42 %; MCV 29,09 fl; MCH 10,59 pg; MCHC 36,41 g/dl; leukosit 7800 Sel/mm³; neutrofil 54,5%; limfosit 34%; eosinofil 11%; monosit 1%; TPP 7,65 gr% dan fibrinogen 300 mg%. Gambaran darah rusa Timor betina memiliki nilai rerata eritrosit 9,55 jt/mm³; Hb 13 gr%; hematokrit 35 %; MCV 36,30 fl; MCH 13,66 pg; MCHC 37,23 g/dl; leukosit 5630 Sel/mm³; neutrofil 52,6%; limfosit 35,2 %; eosinofil 11,8%; monosit 1%; TPP 7,74gr% dan fibrinogen 300 mg%.
Timor deer (Cervus timorensis) is one of the original endemic species which are included in one of the species richness of Indonesia. During its growth, many Rusa Timor's population decreased due to illegal poaching, deforestation and disease. Timor deer's blood count can be used as a reference in the medical examination. The purpose of this study is to describe the blood count includes erythrocytes, hemoglobin, hematocrit, MCV, MCH, MCHC, leukocytes and leukocyte differential, TPP, and fibrinogen of Timor deer which were kept in the valley of Gadjah Mada University. This study used 7 Timor deers consisting of 2 males and 5 females which are kept in UGM valley. Blood samples were collected via jugular vein as much as 5 ml and placed in a sterile tube that had been added with Ethylene Diamine Tetra Acetic Acid (EDTA) with a concentration 2 mg/ml, stored in transport media and examined in Laboratory of Internal Medicine in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine UGM. The results showed that the Timor deer's blood count has an average value of 10.94 erythrocytes million/mm³; Hb 13.65 g%; hematocrit 37%; MCV 34.24 fl; MCH 12.78 pg; MCHC 37 g/dl; 6250 leukocytes cells/mm³; 53.14% neutrophils; lymphocytes 34.85%; 11.57% eosinophils; 1% monocytes; TPP 7.71 g% and fibrinogen 300 mg%. Blood count of Timor deer males have a mean value of 14.42 erythrocytes million/mm³; Hb 15.3 g%; hematocrit 42%; MCV 29.09 fl; MCH 10.59 pg; MCHC 36.41 g/dl; 7800 leukocytes cells/mm³; neutrophils 54.5%; lymphocytes 34%; 11% eosinophils; 1% monocytes; TPP 7.65 g% and fibrinogen 300 mg%. Blood count Timor deer females had a mean value of 9.55 erythrocytes million/mm³; Hb 13 g%; hematocrit 35%; MCV 36.30 fl; MCH 13.66 pg; MCHC 37.23 g/dl; 5630 leukocytes cells/mm³; neutrophils 52.6%; lymphocytes 35.2%; 11.8% eosinophils; 1% monocytes; TPP 7,74 gr% and fibrinogen 300 mg%. It can be concluded that the blood count of Timor deer kept in the UGM valley is internationally same and there is no significant difference between the male and female deer blood count.
