PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM PENJUALAN DAN INVENTORY CONTROL BERBASIS RFID DI TOKO RETAIL (STUDI KASUS TOKO BUSANA ERFANS COLLECTION)

Seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi pada saat sekarang ini kebutuhan akan penyajian informasi yang cepat dan akurat menjadi bagian yang sangat penting bagi keberlangsungan hidup suatu perusahaan. Kekuatan suatu perusahaan atau organisasi akan sangat bergantung kepada sistem informasi atau pengetahuan yang dimilikinya. Terlebih lagi bagi sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang perdagangan/ penjualan, seperti halnya toko retail. Penyajian informasi tentang ketersediaan stok secara real time harus dapat tersajikan dengan cepat. Selain itu pada proses pencatatan transaksi penjualan atau penerimaan barangpun harus dapat dilakukan dengan cepat dan akurat. Untuk meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan dalam upaya mendapatkan keunggulan bersaing (competitive adventage) bagi perusahaan retail, adalah dengan mengimplementasikan sistem penjualan dan inventory control berbasis Radio Frequecy Identification (RFID). Pada sistem ini RFID akan dimanfaatkan untuk menggantikan proses pencatatan barang yang sebelumnya masih relatif manual, menjadi otomatis sehingga diaharapkan proses pencatatan akan menjadi lebih cepat. Pengembangan sistem penjualan dan inventory control berbasis RFID dibuat berdasarkan kondisi operasional toko retail yang sedang berjalan. Beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam pengembangan sistem ini adalah adalah kecepatan dan akurasi dalam penyajian informasi. Metode pengembangan sistem yang diterapkan mengadopsi metode SDLC, metode ini membagi dalam beberapa tahapan diantaranya: Planning, Analysis & Requirement, Design dan Implementation. Pada tahap planning disini akan diawali dengan pengidentifikasian masalah, menentukan tujuan sistem, melakukan studi kelayakan dan invertigasi sistem. Tahap analysis & requirement disini bertunjuan untuk menganalisa tentang informasi-informasi yang dibutuhkan peruahaan dan bagaimana proses bisnisnya, menganalisa user beserta kebutuhannya dan menganalisa tentang kebutuhan teknologinya. Tahap design ditandai dengan merancang basis data dengan tahapan merancang activity diagram, merancang DFD, dan database. Tahap implementation disini akan menghasilkan sistem dalam bentuk prototyping software. Hasil akhir yang terbentuk dari pengelolaan data dan penyajian informasi adalah pengembangan aplikasi sistem penjualan dan inventory control berbasis RFID yang memberikan kecepatan dan akurasi penyajian informasi yang baik sehingga dapat memperlancar proses bisnis perusahaan.

To improve the performance of the company in an effort to gain competitive advantage (competitive adventage) for retail companies, is to implement the sale and inventory control system based Frequecy Radio Identification (RFID). In the RFID system will be used to replace the item before the recording process are still relatively manual, automatic so that diaharapkan recording process will be faster. Development of sales systems and RFID -based inventory control made by condition retail store operations in progress . Some things to consider in the development of this system is the speed and accuracy is the presentation of information . The method is applied to adopt systems development SDLC methods , this method divides in several stages including : Planning , Analysis & Requirements , Design and Implementation . In the planning stages here will begin with identifying the problem , determine the purpose of the system , conduct feasibility studies and invertigasi system . Phase analysis and requirements here bertunjuan to analyze about the information needed peruahaan and how business processes , as well as analyzing user needs and analyze technology needs . Stage design is characterized by designing stages of designing a data base with activity diagram , DFD designing , and databases . Implementation phase will result in the system here in the form of software prototyping. The end result is formed from data management and presentation of information is the sales and application development system based on RFID inventory control that provides the speed and accuracy of a good presentation of information so as to facilitate enterprise business process
