HUBUNGAN ANTARA WORK ENGAGEMENT DENGAN ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOUR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara work engagement dengan organizational citizenship behaviour. Variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB), sedangkan variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah work engagement. Selain itu, digunakan variabel kontrol yaitu kepuasan kerja. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan positif antara work engagement dengan organizational citizenship behaviour(OCB) denganmengendalikan kepuasan kerja. Semakin tinggi work engagement, maka semakin tinggi pula organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) dengan mengendalikan kepuasan kerja. Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan karyawan tetap PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IX PG Mojo Sragen dengan masa kerja minimal satu tahun dengan pendidikan minimal SMA. Alat ukur dalam penelitian ini adalah UWES (Utrecht Work Engagement Scale ) yang telah dimodifikasi Wijayanto (2011), Skala Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (Adiati, 2007)Skala Kepuasan Kerja (Yanuardi,2008). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik korelasi partial, analisis regresi, dan teknik korelasi product moment dari Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara work engagement dengan organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) dengan rxy = 0,480 dengan (p<0.01) Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan diterima. Sumbangan efektif work engagement dan kepuasan kerja diperoleh dari cross product dan nilai koefisien b yang berasal dari analisis regresi dan teknik korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Sumbangan efektif work engagement sebesar 27.30% , sumbangan kepuasan kerja sebesar 15.69%. sedangkan 57.01 % disebabkan oleh faktor-faktor lain.

This aim of this study was to find out the relation between work engagement and organizational citizenship behaviour. The dependent variable of this study was organizational citizenship behaviour, the independent variable was wok engagement, and the control variable was work satisfaction. The hypothesis of the research was that there are positive relation between work engagement and organizational citizenship behavior with job satisfaction acted as control variable. The hypothesis was proven. The subject of this study were the full time employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IX PG Mojo Sragen who had been working there at least in one year period and at least had graduated from senior high school. This research used UWES-17 (Utrecht Work Engagement Scale) that had been modified by Wijayanto (2011), Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) Scale (Adiati, 2007), and Job Satisfaction Scale (Yanuardi, 2008) as the measurement tools. Partial correlation technique, regression technique, and Pearson product moment correlation technique were used as data analysis methods. The result of the study showed that there are significantly positive relation between work engagement and organizational citizenship behavior with rxy = 0,480 and p < 0.01. The hypothesis of the study was accepted. The effective contributions of the work engagement and job satisfaction to organizational citizenship behavior were derived from cross product and coefficient value of b which were from regression analysis and Pearson Product Moment correlational technique. The effective contribution of work engagement was 27.30%, meanwhile the effective contribution of job satisfaction was 15.69%. The remaining, 57.01%, was contributed by other factors.
