Pertumbuhan ekonomi dan peningkatan kesempatan kerja di Kabupaten Pidie, Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam

Latar belakang dari penelitiar ini adalah pertum buhan ekonomi yang rendah, daya serap tenaga kerja rendah serta prioritas pembangunan yang kurang terarah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pertum buhan ekonomi daerah terhadap kesempatan kerja, mengidentifikasi sektor ekonomi potensial serta mengetaqui perubahan struktur penyerapan tenaga kerja di Kabupaten Pidie Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam selama periode 1994 - 1998. Data yang dipergiunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang terdiri atas PDRB, angkatan kerja dan kesempatan kerja Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam dan Kabupsteti Pidie ysng diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Stattstik (BPS) Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pertumbuhan, produktivitas, elastistas. shift-share, location quotient, MHP dan overlay. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pertum buhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Pidie sebesar 3,67% dan pertum buhan kesempatan kerja sebesar 4,19% per tahun Produktivitas tenaga kerja yang dihasilkan sebanyak Rp2,94 jutalorang per tahun dengan elastisitas kesempatan kerja sebesar 0,23 per tahun. Sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran merupakan sektor ekonomi yang potensial untuh dikembangkan terutama pada jenis perdagangan besar dan eceran serta rurnah makan dan kedai kopi. Dari perkembangan ekonomi yang terjadi, hesempatan kerja nyata tum buh sebesar 17,52% atau menyerap tenaga kerja sebanyak 30.166 orang.

The background of the research is the low economic growth, the low labor absorptive power and the less directed development priority The research aims to find out the effect of the Tegional economic growth toward the job opportunity, to identify the potential of economic sector, and to know the change of the labor absorptive power ir, the Regency of Pidie, Province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussa!am for the period of 1994-1 998. The data used in this research is the secondary one which consists of PDRB, the work force and the job opportunities in the Province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam and in Regency of Pidie gained from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. The analysis method used in this research is the growth, productivity, elasticity, shift-share, location quotient, MRP, and Overlay The result of discussion shows that the average economic growth in Pidie Regency is 3.6 percent and the job opportunity growth is 4.19 percent per year. The labor productivity is 2.94 million rupiah/individual per year with the elasiicity of job npportmity 0 23 per year. The trade, hotel and restaurant sectors are the potential economic sector to develop, especially for the large and the retail ones with restaurant dan coffee shop. From the occured economic development, the real job opportunity grows for about 17.52 percent or absorbs about 30,166 labors.
