PERAN EFFICACY BELIEF SEBAGAI MEDIATOR PENGARUH DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DAN NILAI ALTRUISTIK PADA KINERJA KADER POS PAUD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran variabel efficacy belief sebagai mediator pengaruh dukungan sosial dan nilai altruistik terhadap kinerja kader Pos PAUD. Model teoritis peran efficacy belief sebagai mediator dibangun untuk menguji pengaruh tersebut. Dalam pengujian model, digunakan data dari sampel kader Pos PAUD di Jawa Tengah yang terdiri dari 354 kader di kabupaten Wonosobo, Banyumas, Pemalang, Brebes, Klaten, dan Kota Semarang. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan Skala Kinerja yang terdiri dari Subskala Efektivitas Kerja dan Subskala Kepuasan; Skala Efficacy Belief; Skala Dukungan Sosial; dan Skala Nilai Altruistik. Setelah data terkumpul, dilakukan analisis dengan teknik model persamaan struktural (Structural Equation Modeling). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model teoritis peran efficacy belief sebagai mediator pengaruh dukungan sosial dan nilai altruistik terhadap kinerja kader didukung oleh data empiris (fit). Efficacy belief berperan memediasi pengaruh dukungan sosial dan nilai altruistik terhadap kinerja Kader Pos PAUD.

The aim of this research was to examine the role of efficacy belief as a mediator to the influence of social support and altruistic value towards the performance of kader Pos PAUD. To test this influencing factor, theoretical model for the role of efficacy belief as a mediator was constructed for measuring purposes. As test model, data samples were collected from kader Pos PAUD Jawa Tengah consisting of 354 kader from Wonosobo, Banyumas, Pemalang, Brebes, Klaten and Semarang City. Five scales used in data collecting process were Performance Scale, which was consisted of Work Effectiveness Subscale and Satisfaction Subscale; Efficacy Belief Scale; Social Support Scale; and Altruistic Value Scale. Structural Equation Modeling was applied after all data were compiled. The analysis result indicated that the theoretical role of efficacy belief as an influencing mediator in social support and altruistic value towards the performance of kader was proven by empirical data (fit). Efficacy belief had a significant role as a mediator for the influence of social support and altruistic values in the performance of Kader Pos PAUD.
