PURWARUPA SISTEM KENDALI VIA SMS BERBASIS ARDUINO UNO

Telah dibuat suatu purwarupa yang menggunakan komunikasi melalui SMS (Short Message Service) pada handphone. Semakin berkembangnya teknologi maka semakin maju pula sistem kendali yang dibuat. Alat ini dirancang untuk mempermudah penggunaannya dan resiko keamanan yang terjamin. Perancangan sistem ini terdiri dari modul mikrokontroler Arduino UNO sebagai otak inti sistem pengaturannya,board relay, dan modul IComSat SIM900 GSM/GPRS Shield. Semua komponen saling terintegrasi dengan modul mikrokontroler Arduino UNO. Menggunakan handphone sebagai salah satu media komunikasinya khususnya untuk layanan SMS. Pengguna dapat memerintah dari jarak jauh jika ingin menghidupkan atau mematikan sebuah piranti. Dari hasil pengujian didapatkan bahwa pengendalian piranti dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan SMS. Dilihat dari tanggap waktunya maka rata-rata untuk mengendalikan piranti sekitar 17 detik setiap perintah jika terdapat jaringan handphone yang memungkinkan.

Have been created a prototype which uses communication through SMS (Short Message Service) on handphone. The continued development of technology, the more advanced control systems is also made. This device is designed to makes it easy to use and risk safety is assured. The system design is composed of a microcontroller module Arduino UNO as a core brain system settings, board relay, and IComSat SIM900 GSM/GPRS Shield module. All of components are integrated with a microcontroller Arduino UNO module. Handphone was use as a media communication, especially for SMS service. User can give commands from distance if want to turn ON or turn OFF a device. From the test results showed that the device control can be done by using SMS. Looking from the time responses, the average for controlling the device around 17 seconds for each commands if there is a handphone network as possible.
