Strategi meningkatkan investasi di Propinsi Riau

Peneiitian ini bertujuan untuk denganalisis pertumbuhan ekonomi akibat adanya investasi, pengaruh investasi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, pengaru h investasi terhadap pertumbuhan jumiah tenaga kerja dan analisis SWOT untuk mencari strategi meningkatkan investasi di Propinsi Riau di masa akan datang. Periode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tahun 1995- 1999. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dengan wawancara langsung dengan pihak terkait yang lansung berhubungan dengan penanaman modal. Data sekunder diperoleh dari BKPMD dan BPS Propinsi Riau yang meliputi data realisasi investasi: ;L\rodbk 2Gine;tik Resionaf Briito {PDRE), dar: jum!ah tsrsga kerja yang ada terdaftar di Departemen Tenaga Keja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pertumbuhan ekonomi akibat adanya investasi rata-rata 1,03 persen. Elastisitas investasi terhadap iaju pertumbuhan ekonomi rata-rata sebesar 0,219 persen. Elastisitas investasi terhadap jumlah tenaga kerja rata-rata sebesar -1,ll persen. Dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT dapat disimpulkan bahwa posisi BKPMD Propinsi Riau saat ini pada kondisi sedang. Untuk mendorong rneningkatnya investasi swasta, berarti BKPMD Propinsi Riau perlu meningkatkan kinerja dalam pelayanan dan pengawasan, selektif dalam perencanaan. dan meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia.

This study was aimed -to analyze the economic growth as the consequence of investment emergence, the impact of investment on the economic growth, the impact of investment on the growth of manpower number and the SWOT analysis to find out the strategy to increase the private investment in Riau Province in the future. The period used in this research was The data used in this research were primary and secondary data. The primary data was gained throug direct interview with the related party, which directly has a relation with the capital plant. Secondary data was gained from The BKPMD arid BPS of Riau Province including investment realization data, Brute Regional DomeGtic Product (PDRB), and the number of manpower listed in Department of manpower. The result of the research showed that the rate of the economic growth with the existence of investment was 1.03 percent. The elasticity of the investment on the rate of economic growth was on the average of 0.219 percent. The investment elasticity on the average number of manpower was of -1.11 percent. Using the SWOT analysis, it could be concluded that the position of BKPMD of Riau Province at was on the medium condition. To support the development of private investment, BKPMD of Riau Province needs to increase the performance in service and control: selective planning, and increasing the 1995-1 999.
