Pengaruh Variabel Geometri dan Pola Aliran Terhadap Morfologi Meander Sungai (Studi Sungai Serayu dan Logawa)

Sungai merupakan salah satu ekosistem yang memiliki potensi pemanfaatan yang sangat luas, akan tetapi fenomena yang terjadi pada meander sungai berpotensi dapat menimbulkan permasalahan. Pada meander, terdapat aliran helikoidal yang mengakibatkan erosi sedimen pada sisi luar belokan dan deposisi sedimen pada sisi dalam belokan. Oleh karena itu, perlu diketahui seberapa besar pengaruh variabel-variabel geometri meander terhadap aliran helikoidal dan perubahan morfologi yang terjadi. Dilakukan suatu kajian mengenai korelasi antar parameter yang terdapat pada meander sungai terhadap perubahan morfologi belokan sungai. Kajian dilakukan pada Sungai Serayu bagian hilir Waduk Mrica serta Sungai Logawa yang merupakan salah satu anak sungai dari Sungai Serayu dengan melakukan pengumpulan data parameter-parameter geometri meander melalui citra satelit dari citra google earth. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dan dicari korelasinya dengan menggunakan grafik scatter pada microsoft excel. Dari penelitian ini, didapat korelasi antara beberapa variabel, di antaranya jari-jari meander terhadap bed slope, sinusoity, dan kecepatan transversal, bed slope terhadap sinusoity dan kecepatan transversal, serta sinusoity terhadap kecepatan transversal. Akan tetapi, didapat grafik korelasi yang memiliki nilai R2 yang kecil terutama pada grafik yang melibatkan variabel bed slope. Hal ini disebabkan oleh keterbatasan data dan perangkat.

River is one of the ecosystems that has various potential utilization, but there are phenomenon in river meander which has potential to cause problem. In meanders, helicoidal flow bringing erosion of sediment on the outside of the bend and sediment deposition on the inside of the tmeander. Therefore, it is important to know how much influence of the geometrical variables towards helicoidal flow and morphological changes that occur. Conducted a study of correlation between the parameters contained in the meanders of the river to the morphological changes of the river bends. The study was conducted at the downstream reservoir Mrica Serayu River and Logawa River which is one of the tributaries of Serayu to perform data collection parameters meanders through satellite imagery from Google Earth imagery. A collected data plotted with scatter graph in microsoft excel to obtain the correlations. From this research, obtained the correlation between several variables, including the meander radius toward bed slope, sinusoity, and transverse velocity. Bed slope towards sinusoity and transverse velocity, and sinusoity against transverse velocity. However, correlation graphs obtained are have low R2 value especially in graph with bed slope variable due to the limitations of data and devices.
