Wacana Alokasi Dana Desa atau ADD santer dibicarakan dalam kerangka RUU Desa dalam keuangan desa sebagai salah satu sumber pendapatan desa. Wacana ADD dari APBN 10% menjadi isu terkait untuk realokasi sumber dana dan reformula kebijakan ADD dari bagian perimbangan pusat dan daerah. Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) dimaknai mempunyai manfaat bukan hanya persoalan transfer dari perimbangan pusat dan daerah namun mendorong semangat desentralisasi dan otonomi desa sesuai kebutuhan lokal setempat. Kebijakan atau program ADD di Kabupaten Klaten diatur dalam Perda Nomor 5 Tahun 2008 beserta Peraturan Bupati dari tahun 2010 hingga 2012. Implementasi Kebijakan ADD di Desa Kalitengah dipilih sebagai studi kasus untuk memungkinkan merepresentasikan implementasi ADD di Kabupaten Klaten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi ADD beserta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi.
