PERAN USAHATANI PADI DALAM EKONOMI DAN KONSUMSI PANGAN RUMAH TANGGA TANI DI DESA UMBULREJO, KECAMATAN PONJONG, KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL

Usahatani padi tidak hanya memberikan pengaruh pada ekonomi rumah tangga tani saja, namun juga pada konsumsi pangan rumah tangga tani. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan usahatani padi, kontribusi pendapatan usahatani padi pada pendapatan rumah tangga tani, proporsi konsumsi beras pada produksi padi, dan kemandirian pangan di Desa Umbulrejo, Kecamatan Ponjong, Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Digunakan metode analisis kelayakan (produktivitas modal, RCR dan analisis BEP), perhitungan kuantitatif untuk kontribusi pendapatan usahatani padi pada pendapatan rumah tangga tani, proposi konsumsi pangan pada produksi usahatani padi dan status kemandirian pangan pada rumah tangga tani pada penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa usahatani padi layak untuk diusahakan. Kontribusi pendapatan usahatani padi termasuk sedang pada total pendapatan rumah tangga. Proporsi konsumsi beras sebesar 14% dari produksi usahatani padi dan rumah tangga tani termasuk ke dalam mandiri pangan.

On farm paddy not only give the influence for farm household economics, but also for the consumption of farm household. The study exmined the feasibility of on farm paddy, the contribute of on farm paddy income in household income, the proportion of the rice consumption in rice productions, and the food independence in Umbulrejo Village, Ponjong Subdistrict, Gunungkidul Regency. The methods used in this study were expediency analysis (capital productivity, RCR, BEP analysis), the quantitative for contribution on farm paddy income of farm household, the proportions of food consumption in production on farm paddy and the status of food sufficiency at the farm household in this research. The results of the study showed that on farm paddy was feasibility to do. The contribute of on farm paddy income was medium to total farm household income. The proportion of the rice consumption was 14% from the production on farm paddy and the households was food sufficiency.
