Website dalam sebuah perusahaan sangat berperan penting dalam mendukung kemajuan usaha. Saat ini dengan adanya pengaruh globalisasi, utamanya di bidang teknologi informasi website tidak hanya sebagai penyedia informasi, namun juga dapat diterapkan sebagai tempat jual beli online, pemesanan online, diskusi, serta hal lain yang dulu hanya dapat kita lakukan secara langsung. Demi terciptanya arus informasi yang cepat, murah dan mudah, maka diperlukan sebuah sistem informasi perusahaan yang juga sebagai sistem yang memuat semua kebutuhan perusahaan yang dahulu belum terakomodasi. Sesuai dengan judul tugas akhir yaitu pembuatan website agrowisata PT. Kepurun Pawana Indonesia berbasis joomla, website yang ada membutuhkan sistem baru yang berisi informasi lengkap, menarik serta dapat berfungsi untuk sarana booking online wisata dan jual beli online dengan tujuan agar agrowisata dapat berkembang dengan pesat bersamaan dengan meningkatnya kunjungan wisata. Selain itu dengan sistem yang baru dengan memaksimalkan pelayanan online, pengunjung dipermudah dengan adanya pemesanan tiket online.
