Inventarisasi Herbivor Pada Tanaman Melon Di Lahan Pertanian Pasir Pantai Kuwaru, Kabupaten Bantul

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuiHerbivor pada melon (Cucumis melo L) di lahan Pertanian Pasir Pantai PT INDMIRA. Penelitian dilakukan pada petak tanaman melon jenis Sakata (F1 Glamour) dengan luas lahan 32 m2. Pada satu petak lahan terdapat 11 baris tanaman melon, setiap baris terdapat 10 tanaman. Sampel yang diambil pada satu petak tanaman melon adalah 9 sampel. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara perangakap Pitfall, Sweepnet, HandPicking. Parameter yang diamati yaitu spesies hama yang ada pada tanaman melon di lahan PT INDMIRA dan gejala tanaman yang terserang hama. Lahan pasir pantai di pantai Kuwaru, Kabupaten Bantul, Yogyakarta merupakan lahan yang potensial untuk budidaya tanaman hortikultura khususnya tanaman melon. Herbivor yang ditemukan pada pertanaman melon lahan pasir pantai PT INDMIRA adalah dari Family Acrididae, Aleyroididae, Aphididae, dan Tephritidae.

The aim of this reaserch is determine the herbivores on melon (Cucumis meloL) in thefield of Agriculture Sand Beach PT INDMIRA. The reaserch was conducted on melon crop plots types Sakata (F1 Glamour) with total area of 32m2. On the plot there are 11 rows of melon plants, each row contained 10 plants. Nine samples were taken on a plot of melon plants. Insact ware done by Pitfall, Sweepnet, and Hand Picking. Parameters of the observation are common type of herbivores and the symptomps of damage from herbivores on melon.Landsandon the Kuwaru beach, Bantul, Yogyakarta is a potential land for the cultivation of horticultural crop sespecially melon plants. Herbivores found in plant melon in the study beach PT INDMIRA are from Family Acrididae, Aleyroididae, Aphididae, andtephritid.
