Penulisan Tugas Akhir yang berjudul Pengolahan Arsip Foto di Balai Penyelidikan dan Pengembangan Teknologi Kebencanaan Geologi Yogyakarta merupakan hasil pengumpulan data dari Praktik Kerja Lapangan ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pengolahan arsip foto. Adapun ruang lingkup permasalahannya antara lain adalah menyangkut proses pengolahan, sarana, dan kendala yang ditemukan ketika proses pengolahan arsip foto. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga metode, pertama observasi yaitu dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung dilapangan untuk mendapatkan data sebagai bahan penyusunan laporan tugas akhir. Metode kedua adalah wawancara dengan narasumber yang berkompeten untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang proses pengolahan arsip tersebut. Metode pengumpulan data yang terakhir adalah studi pustaka, metode ini dilakukan untuk memperkuat argumen dan memperoleh data pendukung yang relevan dengan topik pembahasan. Kesimpulan dari Laporan Tugas Akhir ini adalah bahwa pengolahan arsip yang dilakukan di Balai Penyelidikan dan Pengembangan Teknologi Kebencanaan Geologi belum terlaksana dengan optimal. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya sarana yang mendukung untuk proses pengolahan arsip foto.

Final Report, entitled "The Arrangement of Photo Archives in Balai Penyelidikan dan Pengembangan Teknologi Kebencanaan Geologi Yogyakarta is the result of the data collection practices of this field work has the objective to find out how the processing of photo archives. The scope of the problem, among others, are related to the processing, infrastructure and problems were found when processing photo archives. The method of data collection is done by using three methods. First, the observation that the direct observation in the field to get the data as a final project report preparation. The second method is an interview with speakers who are competent to obtain information about the processing of the file. The last data collection method is literature. This method is done to strengthen the argument and obtain supporting data relevant to the discussion topic. The conclusion of this final report is that the arrangement of photo archives in the Balai Penyelidikan dan Pengembangan Teknologi Kebencanaan Geologi Yogyakarta has not been implemented optimally. This is due to the lack of infrastructure support for the processing of photo archives.
