Dampak pengembangan sektor (Lapangan usaha) sekunder terhadap perekonomian Sumatera Barat :: Analisis input output 1999

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meli hat keterkaitan antara sektor sekunder dangan sektor-sektor perekonomian lainnya dan untuk mengetahui dampak dari pengembangan sektor sekunder terhadap perekonomian Sumatera Barat. Hasil penelitian diharapkan berguna bagi Pemerintah Daerah dalam menyusun rencana pengem bangan sektor sekunder di Sumatera Barat. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder, terutama dari tabel lnput Output Sumatera Barat tahun 1999 yang diperoleh dari Badan Pbsat Statistik Propinsi Sumatera Barat. Masalah-masalah dalam peneiitian ini dianalisis dengan model lnput Output. Dan penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa sektor sekunder di Propinsi Sumatera Barat mempunyai keterkaitan yang lemah dengan sektor yang lainnya. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian adalah bahwa sektor lndustri makanan, minuman dan tembakau dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk mempercepat pengembangan sektor sekunder dan perekonomian di Sumatera Barat.

The aims of this study are to measure and analyze the linkages between secondary sector with the other sector in economic of Sumatera Barat and to know the impact of secondary sector development on the economic of Sumatera Barat. The results are expected to be use by local government of Sumatera Barat to arrange the planning of development of secondary sector. The data used in this study was secondary one, especially from the input - output table of Sumatera Barat of 1999, obtained form the Central Bureau of Statistic Sumatera Barat Province. The problem appeared in this study were analyzed by using the input output model The results of this study indicate that in Sumatera Barat, secondary sector have the lowest linkages with the other sector. So the conclusion is the food, drink and tobacco industries sector can be set as an alternative to increase the development of secondary sector and the economic in Sumatera Barat rapidly.
