EVALUASI PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN BUAH DAN TANAMAN HUTAN SAMPAI UMUR 2 TAHUN DI LAHAN PESISIR KARANGGADUNG KABUPATEN KEBUMEN

Penelitian dilakukan di Pesisir Jawa bagian selatan, yang secara administratif terletak di Desa Karanggadung, Kecamatan Petanahan, Kabupaten Kebumen, Jawa Tengah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui persentase hidup, respon tinggi, dan diameter tanaman uji. Data tinggi tanaman diukur setelah tanaman berumur 2 bulan (T1), 7 bulan (T2), 17 bulan (T3) dan 23 bulan (T4). Data diameter diukur setelah tanaman berumur 17 bulan (D3) dan 23 bulan (D4). Tanaman yang digunakan untuk penelitian adalah cemara udang, nyamplung, asam jawa, sirsat, mahoni, jambu mete dan jambu biji, ditanam dengan jarak tanam 2 m x 2 m menggunakan RCBD. Plot berbentuk square, (7x7 pohon), setiap plot ada 49 pohon plot termasuk pohon border. Hasil analisis varians dan analisis pasca anova DMRT menunjukan adanya nilai beda nyata dalam semua variabel pengamatan. Persentase hidup total tanaman uji dilapangan relatif rendah 14 % (T4). Cemara udang adalah jenis yang persentase hidupnya terendah 11 % (T4), dilihat dari gradasi persen hidup di T2 ke T3 yang tinggi (-30%), lalu menurun drastis di T3 ke T4 (-5%). Nyamplung adalah jenis yang menunjukan rerata tinggi 107 cm dengan diameter 20 mm dan rasio T/D 57 lebih baik dari tanaman uji lainnya setelah 23 bulan hidup di lokasi penelitian

This research was conducted in the southern coast of Java, which is administratively located in Karanggadung village, Petanahan district, Kebumen regency of Central Java. The objective of this research is to study the survival, height, and diameter of the spesies trial. The height of the spesies trial measured at 2 months (T1), 7 months (T2), 17 months (T3) and 23 months (T4) old plants. The diameter was measured at 17 months (D3) and 23 months (D4). Plants used for research is Casuarina equisetifolia, Annacardium occidentale, Tamarindus indica, Annona muricata, Swietenia mahagoni, Calophyllum inophyllum, and Psidium guajava. The planting distance is 2 m x 2 m and the research design of RCBD was applied. Plot shape was square (7x7 tree), so there are 49 tree plot. This research resulted that there is a significant different of all variabels. Survival plant live in field trials is relatively low 14% (T4). Casuarina equisetifolia is kind of his lowest percentage (11%), because it is more sensitive to drought season than any other test plants, seen from gradation percent live in T2 to T3 is high (-30%), and then dropped dramatically on the T3 to T4 is (-5%). Callophylum inophyllum is the kind that showed average height of 107 cm with a diameter of 20 mm and the T/D ratio of 57, that is better than the other test plants after 23 months of living on the site grow.
