CITRA DIFABEL DALAM NOVEL BIOLA TAK BERDAWAI KARYA SENO GUMIRA AJIDARMA: ANALISIS SOSIOLOGI SASTRA IAN WATT

Sebagai sebuah karya, karya sastra tidak terelakkan lagi untuk keluar dari situasi dan kondisi nyata produksinya. Karya sastra tidak dapat berdiri absolut sebagai kesatuan yang otonom, selalu ada faktor dari luar yang ikut mempengaruhinya. Faktor-faktor sosial yang ada di sekitar pengarang memiliki peran untuk memberikan karakteristik dalam karya sastranya, disamping mempengaruhi pengarang. Oleh karena itu, penelitian suatu karya sastra harus menempatkan pula faktor di luar karya sastra. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan novel Biola Tak Berdawai karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma yang dikembangkan dari skenario film berjudul sama karya Sekar Ayu Asmara. Pemilihan objek penelitian ini didasari oleh faktor tokoh utama yang seorang difabel dan peneliti ingin memberikan khasanah baru dalam penelitian karya sastra yang fokus melihat dari sudut pandang difabel yang masih minim perhatian. Posisi difabel dalam masyarakat, khususnya di Indonesia, masih dalam kedudukan rentan sosial dan minoritas menjadi daya tarik peneliti untuk melihat bagaimana fenomena ini digambarkan dalam karya Sastra. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan teori sosiologi sastra Ian Watt, Biola Tak Berdawai tidak jauh berbeda dengan karya-karya Seno lainnya yang cenderung melemparkan gagasan kritis terhadap realitas sosial. Dalam Biola Tak Berdawai, latar belakang sosial Seno yang sekaligus sebagai wartawan melemparkan gagasan kritisnya terkait kondisi difabel yang masih mendapat stigma negatif dari masyarakat. Cerminan sosial dalam novel tidak jauh berbeda dengan realitas yang terjadi di Indonesia, dimana ideologi kenormalan menyumbangkan berbagai bentuk ketidakadilan terhadap difabel. Difabel masih dianggap sebagai individu yang cacat, sebagai kutukan Tuhan, dan sebagai sumber aib bagi keluarga. Pendobrakan terhadap realitas yang ada, dilakukan pengarang lewat tokoh utama Aku yang difabel dengan menyajikan fakta bahwa difabel memiliki kemampuan yang berbeda, tetapi masyarakat masih belum memahaminya karena sudah terlanjur terjebak pada stigma negatif terhadap difabel. Novel ini menyisipkan hiburan dalam bentuk kisah pewayangan dan kisah percintaan antara tokoh Mbak Wid dan Bisma tanpa melepaskan komitmen sosial yang selama ini menjadi ciri khas tulisan-tulisan Seno.

As a work of the literature, it can not out for the fact product of situations and conditions. The literature can not absolutely stand like a unity of this autonomus, there are many factor exsternal here. Social factor from around the author, have a role for give the characteristics in the literature, beside influence the authors. Therefore, the study of literature is also must be put out of literature factors. This research used a Biola Tak Berdawai, a novel is educing from scenario with same title who write by Sekar Ayu Asmara. This selection building because on the main character in the novel who the disabled people and researcher want to provide new treasury in the study of literature which focus look from the disabled people perspective, they are still minimal attention. The position the disabled people in the society is still vulnerable social disabilities and minority is appeal factor for researcher to look how this phenomenon is built in the literature. Applied the sociological theory literature Ian Watt approach, Biola Tak Berdawai is not much different with the other Seno is write, which inclined to built a critical ideas about the reality. In the Biola Tak Berdawai, the background of Seno who also a journalist built his critical ideas about the disabled people are accusation negative stigma from the majority of society. Social reflection in the novel is not much different what happened in Indonesia, where the ideology of normality establish various forms of injustice for the disabled people. Disabled people are still regarded as defective, as the curse of God, and as a source of shame for the family. Break-in reality, done by author with trough the main character Aku are disabled people and give a fact that disabled people have a different ability. But, the society is not understood about it, because already trapped negative stigma. This novel insert a puppets story and romance without releasing social commitment where it has been the hall mark of Seno's write.
