RELASI ANTARA KEBUDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DESA KACANG BUTOR DENGAN INTERAKSI TERHADAP HUTAN LINDUNG GUNUNG TAJAM, KEC. BADAU, KAB. BELITUNG

Desa Kacang Butor merupakan desa yang berbatasan langsung dengan kawasan Hutan Lindung Gunung Tajam dan memiliki kebudayaan serta kearifan lokal yang mempengaruhi pemanfaatan sumberdaya hutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kaitan antara kebudayaan masyarakat Desa Kacang Butor dengan interaksinya terhadap Hutan Lindung Gunung Tajam. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei-Juli 2014 dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam kepada informan, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Pemilihan informan dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk-bentuk kebudayaan masyarakat Desa Kacang Butor yang teridentifikasi meliputi bahasa, sistem pengetahuan, sistem organisasi sosial, sistem mata pencaharian hidup, sistem peralatan hidup dan teknologi, sistem religi, dan kesenian. Bentuk-bentuk interaksi masyarakat Desa kacang Butor terhadap Hutan Lindung Gunung Tajam meliputi berasuk, ngulat, wisata alam, wisata religi, penebangan kayu, pengambilan kayu bakar, dan pengambilan madu liar. Dari kebudayaan yang ada dan interaksi masyarakat terhadap Hutan Lindung Gunung Tajam, terdapat relasi antara keduanya. Relasi tersebut dapat dilihat pada kegiatan berburu (berasuk), usaha bercocok tanam, penyakralan terhadap makam ulama yang ada di sekitar wilayah hutan lindung, hingga terbentuknya kelompok tani hutan yang dapat mewadahi semua kegiatan masyarakat yang berkaitan dengan hutan lindung

Kacang Butor Village is the village which are bordered with Tajam Mountain protected forest area and possess culture and local wisdom that influence the utilization of forest resources. The research aim to review the link between culture of community in Kacang Butor Village and its interaction to Tajam Mountain protected forest. The research was conducted on May-July 2014 using case study method. Data collection was done through depth interview to informants, participative observation, and documentation study. Informant selection was conducted by using purposive sampling method. The research results show that cultural forms of Kacang Butor Village that has been identified includes: languages, knowledge systems, social organization systems, livelihood systems, life equipment and technology systems, religion system, and arts. Community interaction to Tajam Mountain Protected Forest take forms in: berasuk, ngulat, nature tourism, timber cruising, fire wood collection, and wild honey collection. There is relationship between the culture and interaction of community to Tajam Mountain Protected Forest. The relationship could be seen in hunting activity (berasuk), farming activity, and sanctification the tomb of ulama that located around the protected forest area until the establishment of forest farmer group that can accommodate all of the community activity which is related to the protected forest.
