INTISARI Skripsi ini menganalisis pelafalan para mahasiswa bahasa Korea UGM dalam melafalkan perubahan bunyi nasalisasi r dan lateralisasi n. Terdapat tujuh jenis perubahan bunyi nasalisasi r dan lateralisasi n yang diteliti dalam skripsi ini yaitu, /p/ + /r/, /k/ + /r/, /ng/ + /r/, /m/ + /r/, /n/ + /r/, /n/ + /r/ (/n/ menjadi [l]) dan /r/ + /n/. Objek skripsi ini adalah dua puluh mahasiswa bahasa Korea Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Gadjah Mada yang kemudian dibagi menjadi dua kategori yakni kategori sepuluh mahasiswa yang pernah ke Korea selama setahun dan kategori sepuluh mahasiswa yang belum pernah ke Korea. Berdasarkan hasil analisis masih banyak terjadi kesalahan pelafalan yang dilakukan oleh dua puluh mahasiswa yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor. Selain itu, terdapat perbedaan hasil pelafalan antara kedua kategori. Walaupun persentase hasil pelafalannya berbeda, kedua kategori memiliki kesamaan urutan pelafalan jenis perubahan bunyi yang belum tepat dilafalkan. Kesamaan urutan pelafalan dua kategori menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kesamaan jenis perubahan bunyi yang paling dikuasai atau yang paling tidak dikuasai di antara kedua puluh mahasiswa.

ABSTRACT This undergraduate thesis analyzes the pronunciation of Korean Language phonemic alternation r nasalization and n lateralization of the Korean Language students, Universitas Gadjah Mada. There are seven categories of these phonemic alternations, there /p/ + /r/, /k/ + /r/, /ng/ + /r/, /m/ + /r/, /n/ + /r/, /n/ + /r/ (/n/ become [l]) and /r/ + /n/. The samples of this undergraduate thesis are twenty Korean Language students who are divided into two categories. The first category consists of ten students who have been in Korea for one year and the second category consists of ten students who have never been in Korea before. Based on the result, there are still many pronunciation errors done by the twenty students which are cause by some factors. Besides, there are also exists the pronunciation differences between the two categories. Although the percentage of the result is different between the two categories, those still have the similar orders of the error phonemic alternation. This similarity shows the two categories have the same difficulty level in understanding the phonemic alternation.
