PT. Pagilaran adalah salah satu perusahaan yang memiliki perkebunan teh yang sangat luas dan sekaligus sebagai tempat agrowisata. Perusahaan ini terletak di Desa Keteleng, Kecamatan Blado, Kabupaten Batang. Perusahaan ini merupakan salah satu penghasil teh terbesar di jawa tengah. Semua perkebunan teh yang terdapat di desa Keteleng merupakan perkebunan milik perusahaan Pagilaran. PT. Pagilaran memiliki jumlah tenaga kerja yang tidak sedikit dan sebagian pekerja adalah pekerja yang tidak tetap yang memiliki latar belakang pengetahuan penggunaan waktu yang sangat kurang. Penentuan jumlah tenaga kerja teoritis PT. Pagilaran dilakukan agar dapat meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisiensi dari perusahaan tersebut. Salah satu metode yang digunakan yaitu studi waktu maka pekerja dapat bekerja lebih efisien dan mendapatkan hasil yang lebih baik. Kemampuan pekerja yang produktif dapat dilakukan dengan cara meminimalkan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan sehingga tidak terjadi pemborosan waktu. Pengamatan yang dilakukan sebanyak 20 pengulangan. Setelah menentukan waktu normal dengan memperhitungkan Rating Faktor dari pekerja, kemudian dapat diketahui waktu baku dengan memperhitungkan faktor kelonggaran dari pekerja. Dengan mengetahui waktu siklus, waktu normal, dan waktu baku dari pekerja, maka dapat diketahui jumlah tenaga kerja yang dibutuhkan secara teoritis. Jumlah tenaga kerja teoritis yang diperoleh pada proses pembuatan teh hitam di PT. Pagilaran diharapkan mampu meningkatkan produktivitas perusahaan. Pagilaran have a workforce that is not a little, and some workers are not permanent workers who have background knowledge of the use of a very less time. Determination of the number of workers theoretical PT. Pagilaran done in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the company. One method used is the study period, the worker can work more efficiently and get better results. Ability productive workers can be done by minimizing the time required to complete the work so there is no waste of time.
