PENGARUH MUSIK PENGIRING KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA TENAGA KERJA YANG MENGALAMI KEBOSANAN DI HOME INDUSTRI PEMBUAT BULU MATA PALSU

Latar Belakang: Pembuatan bulu mata palsu merupakan indsutri yang sangat berperan penting dalam pembangunan di Kabupaten Purbalingga. Pada setiap kecamatan sampai tingkat desa di Kabupaten Purbalingga terdapat pabrik maupun home industri yang bergerak pada pembuatan bulu mata palsu. Kondisi lingkungan kerja dan cara bekerja yang monoton, berulang-ulang dan kurang ergonomis, dimana tenaga kerja hanya duduk di bangku panjang yang terbuat dari kayu dan tidak mempunyai sandaran untuk punggung sehingga pada saat duduk, punggung tenaga kerja tidak bisa bersandar yang menyebabkan para tenaga kerja mengeluh punggungnya sakit, belum adanya program rotasi antar pekerjaan yang bisa membuat tenaga kerja memperoleh suasana baru dalam bekerja, serta belum adanya musik pengiring kerja di tempat kerja sehingga menyebabkan ruang kerja sepi dan membosankan. Tujuan Penelitian: untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Musik Pengiring Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Tenaga Kerja yang Mengalami Kebosanan di Home Industri Pembuat Bulu Mata Palsu. Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rancangan eksperimen ulang yang disebut juga pretest and post test control group design yaitu dengan melakukan pengukuran atau observasi awal sebelum perlakuan. Sampel dari penelitian ini sebanyak 15 orang pada home industri A dan 15 orang pada home industri B. Untuk menguji pengaruh musik pengiring kerja terhadap kinerja home industri pembuat bulu mata palsu yang mengalami kebosanan dengan menggunakan T-test. Hasil Penelitian: Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dihasilkan nilai probabilitas untuk kinerja kelompok A sebagai kelompok kontrol yang tidak diberi perlakuan pemberian musik pengiring kerja yaitu 0,270, dan untuk uji dua sisi, angka probabilitas adalah 0,270/2 = 0,135. Karena 0,135 > 0,025, maka H0 diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata kinerja sebelum diberi musik pengiring kerja dan sesudah diberi musik pengiring kerja adalah tidak berbeda secara nyata. Pada kelompok B yang diberi perlakuan pemberian musik pengiring kerja didapat hasil nilai probabilitas sebesar 0,00, untuk uji dua sisi angka probabilitas adalah tetap 0,00. Karena 0,00 < 0,025, maka H0 ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata kinerja sebelum diberi musik pengiring kerja dan sesudah diberi musik pengiring kerja adalah memang berbeda secara nyata. Kesimpulan dan Saran: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa rata-rata kinerja pekerja bulu mata sebelum dan sesudah diberi musik pengiring kerja adalah berbeda secara nyata. Untuk itu diperlukan upaya preventif dan promotif salah satunya dengan memberi musik pengiring kerja untuk meningkatkan kinerja pekerja pembuat bulu mata palsu yang mengalami kebosanan.

Background: artificial eyelashes industry has an important role in Purbalingga regency development. In each district in Purbalingga regency, there are factories and home industries engaging in artificial eyelashes making. In the factory, the employees work by sitting side by side on a long wooden chair. This long chair does not have the backrest so that the employees cannot rest their back while working which lead to backache. Besides, there is also no job rotation for them that can give them new job environment. There is also no music in the work space which creates the boring atmosphere. Research Objective: to search the influences of music on the bored employees’ performance in the artificial eyelashes home industry. Research Method: This is a quantitative research using experimental design with pretest and post test control group design. The researcher conducted an observation before the experiment. There are 15 participants from home industry A and 15 participants from home industry B taken as the sample. T-test was used to test the influences of music on the bored employees’ performance in the artificial eyelashes home industry. Research Result: Based on the result of the data analysis, the probability value of group A’s performance as the control group which was not given the experiment or the music listening is 0.270. For the two sided test, the probability value is 0.270/2 = 0.135. Then, because 0.135 > 0.025, H0 was accepted. It can be concluded that the average of the employees’ performance values, before and after being listened to the music while working, were not significantly different. Then, the probability value of group B, which was given the experiment, was 0.00. The two sided test of probability value was also 0.00. Because 0.00 < 0.025, H0 was not accepted. It can be concluded that the average of the employees’ performance values, before and after being listened to the music while working, were significantly different. Conclusion and Recommendation: Based on the result of the research, it can concluded that the average of the employees’ performance values, before and after given the experiment or being listened to music, were significantly different. Preventive efforts, such as given the chance to the employees to listen to music while working, are needed to improve the performance of employees of artificial eyelashes home industry, especially those who suffer from boredom.
