JUMLAH DAN KUALITAS UMPAN BALIK DAN RENCANA AKSI SECARA TERTULIS SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH PENGGUNAAN LEMBAR PENILAIAN MINI-CEX DENGAN PENAMBAHAN RUANG SPESIFIK UMPAN BALIK DAN REFLEKSI

Latar belakang. Penelitian dan pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa pemberian umpan balik, rencana aksi, dan refleksi secara tertulis pada Mini-CEX belumlah memuaskan dan spesifik, baik karena faktor format lembar penilaian maupun proses penilaian. Lembar penilaian Mini-CEX yang sudah dimodifikasi dengan penambahan ruang spesifik pada lembar terpisah dan digunakan dengan langkahlangkah tertentu diharapkan mampu meningkatkan jumlah dan kualitas umpan balik, rencana aksi, dan mendorong refleksi secara tertulis. Tujuan. Menguji apakah penggunaan lembar penilaian Mini-CEX yang dimodifikasi dengan penambahan ruang spesifik umpan balik dan refleksi pada lembar terpisah dapat meningkatkan jumlah dan kualitas umpan balik, rencana aksi, serta mendorong refleksi secara tertulis dalam Mini-CEX. Metode Penelitian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif preeksperimental One-Group Pre-Test-Post-Test. Subyek penelitian adalah dosen pembimbing klinik (n=24) dan mahasiswa klinik (n=44). Pengumpulan data dilakukan selama tiga bulan dengan mengggunakan lembar penilaian Mini-CEX modifikasi. Analisis menggunakan uji Chi Square untuk membandingkan jumlah dan kualitas umpan balik dan rencana aksi secara tertulis sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan lembar penilaian modifikasi. Kualitas dari umpan balik, rencana aksi, dan refleksi secara tertulis ditentukan berdasarkan kespesifikannya. Hasil Penelitian. Persentasi jumlah umpan balik tertulis meningkat 39,0 % dan yang spesifik meningkat 30,1 % (p=0,001). Persentasi jumlah rencana aksi tertulis meningkat 37,0 % dan yang spesifik meningkat 17,7 % (p=0,001). Persentasi jumlah refleksi tertulis mencapai 73,0 % dan yang spesifik mencapai 49,2 %. Kesimpulan. Penggunaan lembar penilaian yang sudah dimodifikasi dapat meningkatkan jumlah dan kualitas umpan balik dan rencana aksi, serta mendorong refleksi secara tertulis.

Background. Research and observation shows that written feedback, action plan, and reflection on the Mini-CEX are not specific and satisfactory due to the format of the assessment form and/or due to the assessment process. The Mini-CEX assessment forms which have been modified with addition of specific spaces on separate sheets and used with certain measures are expected to improve the quantity and quality of written feedback, written action plan, and encourage written reflection. Aim. To test whether the modified Mini-CEX assessment forms with the addition of specific spaces on separate sheets will improve the quantity and quality of written feedback, written action plan, and encourage written reflection in the Mini-CEX. Methods. This was a quantitative study with pre-experimental One-Group Pre- Test-Post-Test design. Data collection was conducted for three months by using modified Mini-CEX assessment forms. Data analysis using Chi Square test was done to compare the quantity and quality of written feedback and written action plan before and after the use of a modified Mini-CEX assessment forms. The quality of written feedback, written action plan, and written reflection was determined based on its specificity. Results. Twenty four clinical teacher and 44 clinical students participated on this study. The percentage of written feedback increased by 39.0 % and the specificity increased by 30.1 % (p=0.001). The percentage of written action plan increased by 37.0 % and the specificity increased by 17.7% (p = 0.001). The percentage numbers of written reflection reach 73.0 % and 49.2 % of them were specific. Conclusions. The use of modified Mini-CEX assessment forms with addition of specific spaces on separate sheets increase the numbers and quality of written feedback and written action plan, and encourage written reflection.
