DIVERSIFIKASI, KINERJA REKSADANA SAHAM DAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHINYA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan diversifikasi dan kinerja Reksadana Saham yang dibandingkan dengan kinerja Indeks LQ45. Di dalam penelitian ini juga menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja reksadana seperti total aset reksadana, biaya manajer, dan umur reksadana. Sampel dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling dengan penyaringan reksadana saham yang aktif pada periode Januari 2011 sampai Desember 2013 dan diperoleh sampel akhir 33 reksadana. Pengukuran kinerja dengan menggunakan metode Reward to Diversification (RDIV), Reward to Variability (RVAR), dan Reward to Volatility (RVOL). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa reksadana saham terdiversifikasi lebih baik daripada indeks LQ45. Namun di sisi lain hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja reksadana saham tidak lebih baik daripada kinerja indeks LQ45. Dari hasil pengujian faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja reksadana, tidak terbukti bahwa total aset reksadana, biaya manajer, dan umur reksadana berpengaruh positif pada kinerja reksadana. Baik buruknya kinerja reksa dana saham terletak pada kemampuan dan pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh manajer investasi.

This study aims to analyze the ability of diversification and performance of Mutual Fund Shares compared to the LQ45 performance. This study also analyzes the factors that affect the performance of mutual funds such as total assets, manager cost, and life of mutual funds. Samples were selected by purposive sampling method with filtering active mutual funds from January 2011 to December 2013 and obtained 33 mutual funds. Performance measurement used Reward to Diversification (RDIV), Reward to Variability (RVAR), and the Reward to Volatility (RVOL). The analysis showed that the diversified stock mutual funds are better than LQ45. But on the other hand, the results showed that the performance of mutual fund shares is not better than the performance of LQ45. From the results of testing the factors that affect the performance of mutual funds, the total assets of the mutual fund, the cost of managers and life of mutual funds are not proven to have positive influence on the performance of mutual funds. Performance of mutual funds lies in the skills and knowledge possessed by the investment manager.
