2014 | Skripsi | S1 ARSITEKTURLifestyle Center merupakan sebuah tipologi mall terbuka yang mewadahi mix use shopping & leisure amenities yang melayani skala distrik, mewadahi kegiatan publik dan mengakomodir kebutuhan ruang hijau. Lifestyle center menawarkan kebutuhan berbelanja dan berekreasi dengan menikmati suasana distrik perdagangan yang nyaman dan asri. Hadirnya Lifestyle Center khususnya dalam memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat urban di lokasi Sub Urban kiranya mampu mewadahi open space dan ruang terbuka hijau sebagai tempat berekreasi dan beraktivitas bagi masyarakat Yogyakarta. Dengan memadukan tema Lifestyle Center dengan konsep kekhasan Yogyakarta diharapkan mampu menciptakan sebuah tipologi mix use open air shopping & leisure amenity yang berorientasi pada eksplorasi pengalaman berbelanja dan rekreasi yang akan menekankan pada pola aktifitas yang mempengaruhi zona dan tata ruang sesuai dengan gaya hidup masyarakat urban Yogyakarta, penciptaan skala ruang yang humanis dengan mengapresiasi lokalitas yang akan tercermin dalam spirit of place dan teknik pengalaman ruang yang khas Yogyakarta.
Lifestyle Center is a typology for open air mall that provide mix-use function for shopping, leisure amenities and serve for district scale. It also provides public activity and accommodates the needs of green space. Lifestyle center fulfill the needs of shopping and recreation while giving nice and harmonious atmosphere of a commercial district. The presence of Yogyakarta Lifestyle Center especially aims to fulfill the needs of urban people who live in suburban area, and to specifically provide the needs of public activity and green space in Yogyakarta. By fusing the concept of a Lifestyle Center with the concept of Yogyakarta's uniqueness, The Yogyakarta Lifestyle Center is expected to create a typology of a mix use between an open air shopping district with the leisure amenity that focuses in creating new shopping and recreation experiences. By emphasizing on the activity pattern, zoning and space arrangement that is suitable with the lifestyle of urban people in Yogyakarta will be created. It will also create a humanist scale of the space by appreciating the locality, resulting in a unique spirit of place and exploration of space technique that represents the uniqueness of Yogyakarta.
