Understanding relationship between strategic human resource management and firm performance can be gained through mediation. Organizational capability is a mediator that strongly correlated with strategic human resource management. Strategic human resource management that is linked to strategic planning has influenced an ability of a company to gain its objective named organizational capability. This capability positively effects firm financial performance because of its source of competitive advantage. Using cross-sectional research and survey, we found those findings. Our result contribute to human resource management literature especially in Indonesia.
