Pengaruh kompetensi dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap kinerja Pejabat Eselon IV di jajaran Kantor PMD DKI Jakarta

Permasalahan yang ingin ditemukan jawabannya rnelalui penelitian ini adalah: 1) Apakah ada hubungan antara kompetensi kerja dengan Kinerja; 2). Apakah ada hubungan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan Kinerja; 3) Apakah ada hubungan antara Kompetensi Kerja dan Motivasi Berprestasi secara bersama-sama dengan Kinerja Pejabat Eselon IV di Jajaran Kantor PMD DKI Jakarta. Untuk itu diajukan 3 (tiga) hepotesis, yaitu: 1) terdapat hubungan positif antara Kompetensi kerja dengan Kinerja, 2) terdapat hubungan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan Kinerja, 3) terdapat hubungan positif antara Kompetensi Kerja dan Motivasi Berprestasi secara bersama-sama dengan Kinerja Pejabat Eselon IV di Jajaran Kantor PMD DKI Jakarta. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode pelitian survei. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik kuesioner, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Khusus untuk mengumpulkan data kompetensi kerja digunakan instrumen "tes", sedangkan untuk mengumpulkan data kinerja dan motivasi berprestasi digunakan kuesioner skala likert dan untuk analisis data digunakan teknik deskriptif dan teknik analisis korelasi regresi tunggal dan jamak. Selanjutnya, hasil pengujian hipotesis ditemukan 1) terdapat hubungan positif antara kompetensi kerja dengan kinerja dan ditemukan bahwa peningkatan 1 (satu) unit nilai kompetensi kerja akan diikuti dengan peningkatan nilai kinerja pejabat sebesar 2,13 unit pada konstanta 54,41. Juga terdapat hubungan yang positif antara variabel motivasi berprestasi (X2) dengan kinerja pejabat (Y) sebesar ry.2 = 0,62 Dengan demikian hipotesis nol sebagaimana dinyatakan cii atas ditolak; sebaliknya, hipotesis a1ternatif diterima. Selanjutnya dalam penelitian ini kami menemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kompetensi kerja dan motivasi berprestasi secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja pejabat Eselon IV di Jajaran Kantor PMD DKI Jakarta. Hai ini berarti semakin tinggi kompetensi kerja dan motivasi berprestasi maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja pejabat Eselon IV di Jajaran Kantor PMD DKI Jakarta. Dengan demikian kompetensi kerja dan motivasi berprestasi menjadi penting untuk diperhatikan dalam meningkatkan kinerja pejabat Eselon IV di Jajaran Kantor PMD DKI Jakarta.

The researcher aims to find a measurable figure of their performance which is impacted by the 2 (two) determinants factors; 1). their competencies and 2) achievement motivations. Further, the purpose of this research is to find weather there is a positive correlation between competencies and achievement motivations to their performances. In this research we construct our frame of thought based on three hypotheses that had been tested in statistical analysis. Those hypotheses are 1) There is positive correlation between competencies and their performances 2) There is positive correlation between achievement motivations and their performances 3) There is positive correlation between competencies and achievement motivations altogether to their performances. Research methodology which's applied is survey method towards descriptive and correlation study. The use of survey method is purposed to find some information and understanding several phenomenon of the objects to guide researcher in solving problems The goal of research methodology also trying to explain and analysis Intercorelation between variables, testing the hypotheses to be able in generating concepts and theories based on relative scientific validity. The determinants variables are 1) performance as dependent variables (19 and both 2) competences as independent variables (XI) and 3) achievement motivations as independent variables (X2). The hypotheses testing result were 1) there was a positive correlation between competencies (Xi) to their performances (19 2) there was a positive correlation between achievement motivations (X2) to their performances (19 and 3 ) there was a positive correlation between both variables (X3) altogether to their performances (19. The regression equation explain that the increase of 1 unit competencies would increase 2.13 unit of performances on 54.41 constantan and the increase of 1 unit achievement motivation would increase 0.44 unit of performances and the increase of both independent variables altogether would increase the performance, therefore the alternative hypotheses are excepted. Since there are positives significance correlations between the three independent variables to the determinant variable, therefore we concluded that each of competencies and the achievement motivations factors and both altogether are the dominant factors of the performance of Eselon IV of DIU Governmental officers.
