ANALISIS PENERIMAAN NASABAH TERHADAP FASILITAS INTERNET BANKING BNI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN TECHNOLOGY ACCEPTANCE MODEL (TAM)

Internet banking service allows customers to conduct banking transactions online via bank's website, anytime, anywhere, faster, and relatively lower cost compared to another physical media services. However, it turns out that the number of BNI customers who use BNI Internet Banking service are still very low. According to that condition, the researcher were motivated to analyze the influence of some factors that affect customer acceptance of BNI Internet Banking, using the framework of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) based on Venkatesh and Davis (1996), and also use technology self-efficacy as an external variable based on Tang and Chiang (2009). Some variables analyzed in this research are technology self-efficacy, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and behavioral intention. The respondents of this research are BNI customers who never use BNI Internet Banking service. Based on the data analysis, technology self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect to perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness simultaneously; perceived ease of use has a positive and significant effect to perceived usefulness; perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness have positive and significant effects to behavioral intention simultaneously.
