TEOREMA TITIK TETAP DI RUANG HIPERKONVEKS ( FIXED POINT THEOREMS IN HYPERCONVEX SPACES )

Di dalam thesis ini dibahas teorema titik tetap di ruang hiperkonveks. Terlebih dahulu dibahas ruang hiperkonveks beserta sifatnya dan hubungannya dengan ruang metrically convex dan sifat-(P). Selanjutnya, dibahas beberapa teorema titik tetap yang berlaku di ruang hiperkonveks. Diantaranya, teorema titik tetap yang berkaitan dengan fungsi terkondensasi (condensing) dan ukuran ketidakkompakan Kuratowski.

In this thesis, we discuss about fixed point theorems in hyperconvex metric spaces. First, we discuss about a hyperconvex space and its properties. The relation between hyperconvex spaces, metrically convex spaces and the property-(P) is discussed as well. In addition, we discuss about some fixed point theorems in hyperconvex spaces. Two of them are fixed point theorems related to condensing function and Kuratowski’s measure of noncompactness.
