EFEK ANALGETIK FRAKSI ETIL ASETAT BUAH LABU SIAM (Sechium edule Sw.) PADA MENCIT

LatarBelakang: Analgetik adalah obat yang dapat meredakan rasa nyeri dengan intensitas ringan sampai sedang. Labu siam telah lama digunakan sebagai penghilang rasa nyeri. Penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan adanya manfaat labu siam sebagai analgetik. Dalam penelitian ini akan dikaji efek analgetik fraksi etil asetat buah labu siam (Sechium edule Sw.) pada mencit yang diinduksi dengan asam asetat glacial (Diah dkk, 2012). Tujuan: Mengetahui apakah fraksi etil asetat buah labu siam (Sechium edule Sw.) memiliki efek analgetik pada mencit. Metode: Ujian analgetik dilakukan pada 30 mencit, terbagi menjadi 5 kelompok yakni kelompok control negatif 1 mL Na-CMC 0,5% kelompok control positif (parasetamol) dan 3 peringkat dosis kelompok fraksi etil asetat. Masing-masing kelompok perlakuan terdiri dari 6 mencit. Efek analgetik diuji dengan menggunakan metode righting reflex menurut Turner. Hasil: Fraksi etil asetat dosis 0,0017 mg/20gBB; 0,0051 mg/20gBB dan 0,0153 mg/20gBB memiliki efek analgetik pada mencit yaitu sebesar 58,6% ± 12,7; 55,4% ± 10,0; 64,5% ± 10,0. Kesimpulan: Fraksi etil asetat buah labu siam (Sechium edule Sw.) memiliki efek analgetik pada mencit.

Background: Analgesics are drugs that can relieve pain with mild to moderate intensity. Chayote has long been used as a pain reliever. Past research has shown the benefit of squash as an analgesic. In this study will be assessed analgesic effect of ethyl acetate fraction of fruit squash (Sechiumedule Sw.) In mice induced by glacial acetic acid (Diah et al, 2012). Objective: To determine whether the ethyl acetate fraction of fruit squash (Sechiumedule Sw.) Has analgesic effect in mice. Methods: Analgesic Test conducted on 30 mice, divided into 5 groups: negative control group 1 mL of 0.5% Na-CMC positive control group (paracetamol) and 3 ratings ethyl acetate fraction dose group. Each treatment group consisted of 6 mice. Analgesic effect was tested by using the method of righting reflex according to Turner. Results: ethyl acetate fraction dose of 0.0017 mg / 20gBB; 0,0051mg / 20gBB and 0.0153 mg / 20gBB have analgesic effects in mice that is equal to 58.6% ± 12.7; 55.4% ± 10.0; 64.5% ± 10.0. Conclusion: ethyl acetate fraction fruit squash (Sechiumedule Sw.) Has analgesic effect in mice.
