Uji Sensitivitas Mycobacterium Non Tuberculosis terhadap Kotrimoksazol dan Ofloksasin Secara In Vitro

2014 | Skripsi | PENDIDIKAN DOKTERLatar Belakang: Pada 30 tahun terakhir ini, penyakit paru karena Mycobacterium non tuberculosis meningkat. Gejala yang muncul pada individu yang terinfeksi tidak jauh berbeda dengan gejala tuberkulosis. Lini terapi pertama DOTS tidak mempunyai peran terapi bakteri ini. Adanya variasi kepekaan obat di antara spesies dan di dalam spesies, mendorong peneliti untuk mengetahui lebih lanjut Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui sensitivitas Mycobacterium non tuberculosis terhadap kotrimoksazol dan ofloksasin serta membandingkan efektivitas kedua antibiotik tersebut Metode : Penelitian ini dijalankan menggunakan metode deskriptif observasional dengan memakai macrobroth dilution test. Penelitian ini berlangsung di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Gadjah Mada Hasil : Dari total 10 isolat Mycobacterium non tuberculosis tipe rapidly growing, terdapat 10 isolat (100%) resisten terhadap kotrimoksazol dengan KHM >64 μg/ml, 6 isolat (85%) resisten terhadap ofloksasin dengan KHM >80 μg/ml Kesimpulan : berdasarkan hasil, kotrimoksazol dan ofloksasin kurang efektif dalam menghambat Mycobacterium non tuberculosis tipe rapidly growing
Background : for the last 30 years, infection of lung disease due to Mycobacterium non tuberculosis has been rising. Symptomps in person whose infected were similar with tuberculosis symptomps. The first line DOTS has no role for this treatment infection. The variation of sensitivity among the species has encourage clinician to understand more Objective : To determine the sensitivity of Mycobacterium non tuberculosis against cotrimoxazole and ofloxacin including to compare effectiveness both antibiotics Methods : this study was conducted using descriptive obsevasional method through the utilization macrobroth dilution test. This study was performed in the Microbiology Laboratorium, Medical Faculty of Gadjah Mada University Results : the findings observed in this study there were 10 isolates (100%) would have been resistant with cotrimoxazole with MIC >64 μg/ml, and 6 isolates (85%) would have been resistant with ofloxacin with MIC >80 μg/ml Conclusion : Based on the result, cotrimoxazole and ofloxacin were lack effective against rapidly growing Mycobacterium non tuberculosis
