UJI SENSITIVITAS MYCOBACTERIUM NON TUBERCULOSIS TIPE RAPIDLY GROWING TERHADAP SEFTRIAKSON DAN OFLOKSASIN SECARA IN VITRO

Latar Belakang : Prevalensi infeksi Mycobacterium non tuberculosis mengalami peningkatan di berbagai Negara. Subjek rentan infeksi Mycobacterium non tuberculosis ialah pasien dengan penurunan sistem imun atau immunocompromised . Di Indonesia dari tahun ke tahun terjadi tren peningkatan Orang dengan HIV/AIDS (ODHA) yang terjadi penurunan sistem imun pada tubuhnya.. Infeksi yang disebabkan Mycobacterium non tuberculosis sering tertutup oleh infeksi Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Secara tampakan klinis infeksi NTM dengan Mycobacterium no tuberculosis sulit dibedakan. Pengobatan pada infeksi Mycobacterium non tuberculosis tipe rapidly growing berbeda dengan pengobatan infeksi Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Tujuan : Mengetahui sensitivitas Mycobacterium non tuberculosis tipe rapidly growing terhadap seftriakson dan ofloksasin secara in vitro Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimental. Subjek penelitian adalah isolat klinis Mycobacterium non tuberculosis tipe rapidly growing koleksi bagian Mikrobiologi FK UGM. Metode uji sensitivitas yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode macrobroth dilution . Hasil : Dari hasil penelitian diketahui 80% isolat Mycobacterium non tuberculosis resisten seftriakson dan 85,7 % resisten ofloksasin. Kesimpulan : Antibiotik seftriakson memiliki aktivitas yang lebih poten dibandingkan ofloksasin dalam menekan Mycobacterium non tuberculosis tipe rapidly growing. Backgrounds :The prevalence of infection of Mycobacterium non tuberculosis increased in various countries . High risk subject infection of Mycobacterium non tuberculosis infection is a patient with decreased immune system or immunocompromised. In Indonesia from year to year, prevalence HIV/AIDS has increased. Infections caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis is often covered by a Mycobacterium non tuberculosis infection . Diagnosis of infection Mycobacterium non tuberculous and Mycobacterium tuberculosis is difficult to identify by clinical symptoms. Treatment of rapidly growing Mycobacterium non tuberculosis infection different from the treatment of Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection . Objectives : to know susceptibility rapidly growing Mycobacterium non tuberculosis to ceftriaxon and ofloxacin. Methods : This study was experimental study. The research subjects were clinical isolate of rapidly growing mycobacterium , collections of Microbiology Laboratory Faculty of Medicine Universitas Gadjah Mada. Sensitivity testing that used is macrobroth dilution methode. Results : From this study, known that 80 % isolates of rapidly growing Mycobacteria is resistant ceftriaxon and 85,7 % resistant ofloxacin. Conclusions : Ceftriaxon activity is more potent to againts rapidly growing mycobacteria than ofloxacin.
