Di Indonesia sendiri termasuk dalam negara dengan endemisitas sedang sampai tinggi. Infeksi virus hepatitis B pada daerah endemik tinggi terutama terjadi pada masa-masa awal kehidupan hingga kanak-kanak dan tingkat kronisitas hepatitis B lebih tinggi apabila infeksi terjadi lebih dini. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan proteksi pada usia anak terhadap virus hepatitis B sangat penting. Proteksi pada usia anak terbukti efektif pada titer anti-HBs lebih atau sama dengan 10 IU/L. Produksi antibodi anti-HBs oleh limfosit B tergantung pada stimulasi sel T CD4. Oleh karena itu, hubungan antara angka CD4 dengan titer anti-HBs penting untuk diteliti. Tujuan : Mengetahui hubungan antara angka CD4 dengan titer anti-HBs. Metode : Desain penelitian ini adalah cross sectional. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari Posyandu di Kecamatan Jetis, Kabupaten Bantul. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2013 Oktober 2014. Dilakukan pemeriksaan titer anti-HBs dan angka CD4 kemudian dianalisis. Hasil : Subjek yang dianalisis berjumlah 52. Melalui uji korelasi Pearson, didapatkan nilai korelasi negatif dan sangat lemah yang tidak signifikan antara angka CD4 dengan titer anti-HBs (r = -0,10 ; p > 0,05) Kesimpulan : Tidak terdapat hubungan antara angka CD4 dengan titer anti-HBs. Indonesia itself was a country with moderate or high prevalence of hepatitis B viral infection. Hepatitis B viral infection mostly happened in the early year of life until reach childhood phase and its chronicity was higher especially if the infection occurs in the early year of life. This condition make the protection to childhood phase a very important thing. Protection to childhood phase was proven to be effective if the anti-HBs titre reach 10 IU/L or higher. Production of anti-HBs by B cell was depend on CD4 T cell stimulation. Therefore, the relation between CD4 cell count and anti-HBs titre needed to be investigated. Objective : To know the relation between CD4 cell count and anti-HBs titre. Methods : This cross section study used data from Posyandu in Jetis sub district, Sleman district. This study was conducted from June 2013 until October 2014. The CD 4 cell count and anti-HBs titre was measured and analyzed. Result : In this study, 52 samples were studied. The datas were analyzed using Pearson correlation test. There was a negative and very weak relation between CD 4 cell count and anti-HBs titre (r = -0,10 ; p > 0,05).
