ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI NILAI PRODUKSI NELAYAN TANGKAP LAUT DI KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN MENTAWAI

Pada tahun 2008-2012 produksi perikanan di Kabupaten kepulauan Mentawai mengalami pasang surut. Untuk itu, perlu melakukan analisis produksi perikanan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui rata-rata nilai produksi Mentawai dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai produksi nelayan tangkap laut di Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan wawancara terhadap nelayan penuh yang berada di Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai menggunakan metoda probabilistic sampling. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan metoda Ordinary Least Square (OLS) dengan regersi data cross section. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai produksi nelayan tangkap laut Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai dalam sebulan adalah 8.461.232. Nilai produksi minimum adalah 1.500.000 dan nilai produksi maksimum adalah 60.000.000. Faktor biaya melaut, jumlah jaring, jumlah pancing, waktu melaut, jarak melaut, PK mesin, dan berat perahu masing-masing mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap nilai produksi nelayan tangkap laut. Jumlah jaring tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai produksi nelayan tangkap laut di Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai. Kata kunci: nilai produksi, ordinary least square, faktor produksi, Nelayan

In the years 2008-2012 the fishery production in the Mentawai Islands regency have ups and downs. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze fisheries production in order to determine the average value of production of the Mentawai and determine the factors that affect the value of the production of marine capture fishing in the Mentawai Islands. Sampling is carried out by research interview full of fishermen in the Regency of Mentawai Islands using probabilistic sampling methods. Research on data analysis using the method of Ordinary Least Square (OLS) and cross section data regersi. The results showed an average value of production fishermen catch sea Mentawai Islands Regency in a month is 8.461.232. The value of the production is 1.500.000 minimum and value of the maximum production is 60.000.000. The cost factor on the ocean, the number of nets, fishing rods, the amount of time on the ocean, distance to sea, PK machine, and weight each boat has a significant influence on the value of production fishermen catch sea. While the number of nets do not affect significantly to sea capture fishermen's production value in the Mentawai Islands.
