HUBUNGAN ANTARA KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL DAN EFEKTIVITAS KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL DENGAN KESIAPAN UNTUK BERUBAH

Menciptakan kesiapan individu untuk berubah merupakan langkah awal yang tidak dapat dihidarkan jika ingin berhasil dalam mengupayakan perubahan demi menjadi lebih adaptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepemimpinan Transformasional dan Efektivitas Komunikasi Interpersonal dengan kesiapan individu untuk berubah. Beberapa alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Skala Kesiapan untuk Berubah, Skala Kepemimpinan Transformasional, dan Efektivitas Komunikasi Interpersonal. Analisis korelasi berganda menghasilkan nilai koefisien korelasi R=0,974, R2=0.948. Hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan Efektivitas Komunikasi Interpersonal secara bersama sama mampu memberikan kontribusi pada kesiapan untuk berubah.

Change is inevitable. It is a constant and an integral part of life, as it is for any organizations or companies. Business nowadays demands a quick response and a flexible organizational characteristic in order to survive in the midst of harsh competition. Being able to adapt is a must, hence the need of readiness to change. This study aimed to examine between between transformasional leadership style and the effectiveness of interpersonal communication with readiness for change using Multiple Corelation analysis. A number of instruments including Readiness to Change Scale, Transformational Leadership Scale, and effectiveness of interpersonal communication Scale. Respondent in this study represent the official retailers urea fertilizer of PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja.Statistical analysis resulted R=0.974 R2=0.948. This indicated that both transformational leadership and effectiveness of interpersonal communication simultaneously have corelated with employee readiness for change.
