APLIKASI SHEETMETAL DESIGN PADA PERANGKAT LUNAK CREO PARAMETRIC 2.0 UNTUK PEMBUATAN MODEL KOMPOR GAS DUA TUNGKU

The design can include 3D models , 2D drawings ( detail drawing ) , to the analysis of materials used in the product. In some cases it is require engineering design modeling with complex geometry , for example is Sheetmetal design. Process modeling in Sheetmetal design is slightly different from modeling the usual solid forms, there are several techniques in Shetmetal design , such as the bending of the material ( Bend ) , Punch Form , Unbend and others. The purpose of this thesis is to apply the design features in Creo Parametric Sheetmetal 2.0 to make a models of double burner gas stove, beside it, the purposes of this thesis is to allow the reader to understand and can apply the design process in Creo Paramaetric 2.0. The method used in this thesis is direct practice. Authors collected data which is consist of technical specifications of a gas burner stove. The basic datas is used to develope a models of double burner gas stove . Process modeling and design is done by using Creo parametric 2.0. After the modeling process and technical modification is done the results obtained in the form of a double burner gas stove models. From these results it can be concluded that the use of Paramteric Sheetmetal design in Creo 2.0 is more efficient because there are features that support the modeling Sheetmetal that can not be done with ordinary solid method. In addition, methods of modeling using Sheetmetal design allows the user to simulate the process of production of sheetmetal components in virtual modeling
