Hasrat Seksual dalam Novel La Promesse de La Aube Karya Romain Gary: Pendekatan Psikologi Sastra

Penelitian ini membahas tentang hasrat seksual dalam novel La Promesse de La Aube karya Romain Gary. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bentuk hasrat seksual yang ada dalam diri manusia serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya dalam novel tersebut. Penulis menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra yang dikemukakan oleh Albertine Minderope untuk menganalisis kejiwaan tokoh utama sebagai representasi manusia dalam kehidupan nyata. Penulis juga menggunakan teori Desire and Its Interpretation yang dikemukakan oleh Jacques Lacan untuk menganalisis bentuk dan kepemilikan hasrat seksual yang ada dalam diri manusia. Untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi hasrat seksual, penulis menggunakan teori Four Fundamental Concept of Psychoanalysis yang juga dikemukakan oleh Jacques Lacan. Analisis menunjukan bahwa hasrat seksual dimiliki oleh setiap manusia karena subjek merasa ada yang kurang dalam jiwanya dan ia ingin menutupi kekurangan tersebut. Hasrat selalu ada dalam alam bawah sadar manusia. Hasrat tersebut merupakan refleksi dari hasrat yang dimiliki oleh objek yang dicintainya. Di samping itu, ada empat faktor yang mempengaruhi hasrat seksual dalam diri manusia, yaitu alam bawah sadar, pengulangan, perpindahan, dan pengendalian.

This study discusses the sexual desire in the novel La Promesse de La Aube written by Romain Gary. This study was conducted to analyze the form of sexual desire in human and the factors that influence it. The author uses an approach to psychology of the literature proposed by Albertine Minderope to analyze psychiatric of the main character as a representation of human in real life. The author also uses Desire and Its Interpretation theory proposed by Jacques Lacan to analyze the form and the ownership of sexual desire in man. To analyze the factors that affect sexual desire, the author uses the theory of the Four Fundamental Concept of Psychoanalysis were also expressed by Jacques Lacan. The analysis showed sexal desire is owned by every human human being because the subject feels there is something lack inside of his soul and he wants to complete it. The desire is always exist in his subconscious. This is a reflection of the desire which is owned by the beloved object. In addition, there are four factors that affect sexual desire in man, namely the unconscious, repetition, transference, and drive.
