Dewasa ini banyak peternakan ayam berlokasi diperumahan warga. Keberadaan peternakan ayam ini memunculkan respon yang berbeda-beda dari warganya. Hal ini diduga memunculkan respon positif dan negatif. Respon negatif memunculkan rasa tidak suka adanya peternakan ayam. Respon positif masyarakat terwujud dari sikap yang mendukung keberadaan peternakan ayam. Respon yang diberikan adalah tersimpul dari perilaku masyarakat dalam kesehariannya. Perbedaan respon masyarakat ini akhirnya memunculkan konflik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan analisis kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan informan adalah dengan purposive sampling dan snowball sampling dan diperkuat dengan observasi partisipant. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, kuesioner dan studi pustaka. Peneliti tinggal Di Dusun Ngruno untuk lebih mengetahui proses interaksi masyarakat dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya. Selain itu peneliti menggunakan kuesioner untuk memperoleh data agregat dari warga terkait respon terhadap peternakan ayam. Perilaku dari peternak ayam kepada warga khususnya tetangganya berpengaruh pada respon yang diberikan tetangga kepada peternakan ayam. Kontribusi peternakan ayam kepada warga mempengaruhi respon baik positif maupun negatif. Masyarakat berpegang kepada reward (keuntungan) dan punishment (kerugian) yang diperoleh sebagai rangsangan respon. Adanya penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan masukan kepada staekholder, dan seluruh warga, baik peternak maupun bukan peternak ayam untuk dapat menjadi referensi terhadap dampak respon masyarakat terhadap peternakan ayam. Selain itu juga penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi kepada peneliti secara umum, maupun akademisi.

In this time many chicken farms located in housing residents. The existence of this chicken farm raises different responses from citizens. It is thought to bring positive and negative responses. Negative response led to a dislike their chicken farms. Positive response reallized community of support for the existence of the chicken farm. The response given is knotted on the behavior of people in their daily life. The difference in this community response eventually led to conflic. The method used in this study is a qualitative analysis approach. Informant retrieval technique is purposive and snowball sampling and strengthened by the observation partisipant. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature. Researchers stayed in Hamlet Ngruno to know more about the process of social interaction in daily life. In addition, researchers used questionnaires to obtain aggregate data of residents related to the response to the chicken farms. The behavior of breeder chickens to people especially neighbor effect on the response given to the chicken farms neighbors. Contribution to the citizens of chicken farms affect response positive and negative responses. Community cling to reward (profit) and punishment (loss) obtained as a stimulus response. The existence of this study is expected to provide input to the stakeholders, and all citizens, both breeders and non-breeders chicken to be a reference to the impact of the public response to the chicken farm.
